I've decided that I want to replace my 800D with a smaller case and if possible also a more silent case. The thing is that my hardware doesn't fit in any case.. I've a H70 for my CPU and I've coolit Omnis for my 3 470SC's and maybe a fourth is comming.. This means that my new case needs to be able to handle atleast 5x 120mm rads.. It also has to be smaller than my 800D, which I probably will use for a server tower.. In the last couple of months I've been back and forth on several cases.. including the CoolerMaster Silencio 550.. but it seems like that case won't fit my needs, so atm Im learning towards getting a case from fractal design.. Specifically Im looking at this case.. But at the front it says that it only fits 140mm fans.. But as far as I know 120mm fans are smaller so shouldn't I be able to install 120mm fans instead? if so, then the case will fit all 5 120mm rads.. If you have any other case that I should consider, please let me know.. - at least space for 5x 120mm rads - as small as possible pics of the Fractal Design Arc Medi case..

I like it that way...  But it is not going to be that tight.. I don't need/want any 5.25" bays and no need for 3.5" bays aswell.. Makes a little more room..

I plan to keep this build as clean as possible.. So I will only be using my 3x Intel SSDs.. I will use my mechanical disks in external cases.. I will mount the SSDs on the back of the motherboard tray

i don't think that case will hold a board that will hold 4 video cards. i only count 7 expansion slots on it. are you planning to mount your psu behind the motherboard tray aswell?

No, I'm not planning to do that..  My motherboard from asus is not like the boards from other vendors e.g. like Evga.. The PCI-e slot is located closer to the CPU than on other boards.. hence there is more room for a fourth card.. My board is a ATX board just a little wider.. so it is actually more like a E-ATX.. But it fits the 800D, which only has 7 slots aswell..

You could check out the Thrmaltake Dokker, it may fit your requirements, it holds 7 fans, and unless all your vid cards are 2 slot, it should do the trick. I have the Dokker case myself, and that change alone dropped my system temps 17c at load...

I've looked at it.. I think I'll look closer in to this case.. I want to have the final pics of my pc inside my head, before I go with a case. I don't care about how the case look at the time I buy it.. I care more about the way it ends up looking  But thanks for the tip boomerman18

My philosophy in system building is...the bigger (towers) the case...more fans I can use...the cooler the system. Smaller cases...less fans...means hotter system. See my Mod Rig....

I realize you dont live in the US, but have you considered a custom case such as the MM units? There has to be a builder in the EU that does something similar.

You already made you decision which is fine but I think I would have suggested one of these. It's a mid tower so it's not a space hog and it's very spacious on the inside. GL with your build !
