i gotta stop reading this thread lol, all I want to do is go find my CD case that has "CnC the First Decade" and play through it all again.
 
WC2 and the CnC games were some of my all time favorites, I loved the fast pace and the swarming... so many games just don't have that edge anymore.....sad really.

fubar CnC is owned by EA now, they bought Westwood back in 1999, but RA2 wasn't affected because it was already done when the buyout happened.

Same goes for EA though, I played a lot of their games growing up - but I try to avoid them where possible now.
I suppose every big company was small at some point, and at some point the target audience is inevitable to change.
 
I must load up RA2 though, that soundtrack...
