I hate to be a wet blanket here, but I feel I should remind everyone that the more non-beta-team-members try to pick up these WU, the fewer beta team members receive them, which means further delaying the transition to all (or at least many more) GPU projects receiving QRBs. So, those of you willing to wait until they are out of beta will enable the entire team to receive them sooner. I understand the temptation involved, and it's an easy decision for me either way because I am a beta team member and I don't have any GPUs, but foregoing this short-term bonus for a few will lead to the long-term bonus coming sooner for everyone.

Theres enough members here that could pass on information re:8057 work units couldn't this be a help ??? Or even have a beta team member pass the information along ?? My folding wasn't configured properly and I was still picking up the 8057 work units .So I guess other than just shutting down everything to not pick these beta units up that wouldn't help at all.

you pause or stop v7 use start menu->allprograms->fahclient->data directory this will bring up the data directories for v7 cores/www.standford.edu/~pande/win32/amd64/nvidia/fermi/beta/core15.fah that's where the core15 v2.25 file resides I made a separate directory in there to contain v2.25 and one for 2,22 copy the core15(in the current folder) to the v2.25 then copy the core15 v2.22 to the current folder and to the v2.22 directory then you have backups for both and can switch as you need them

pause worked fine for me- you have to let the core wind down tho as long as the gpu is idle you can remove the core and place the new one in (you may get a clock skew at first ) I do recommend stopping v7 downgrade)and then restarting check log files...if your log say version 2.25 then you haven't changed it if it says 2.22 then wait for a bit... the numbers will come up

Well, you can, but it will crash the Kepler card. If you are running Kepler and Fermi in the same system, you either have to run both under V7 with core 2.25 and accept the points penalty, or use the console client for the Fermi card and downgrade the core when you need to. I have not tried and do not think you can run multiple installs of V7 so you could have different core versions in each one. Might be worth it if someone is willing to try...

Nope not possible but you could have 2 separate folding programs running Use Tracker for the Fermi card(s) and use v7 for your Kepler card(s)

Finally caught one as the other 3 i had all ran over night. The 660 Ti is showing 122k ppd with a 2:07 TPF. Running 8c cooler than the 8018s. total PPD of the 5 clients i'm running is at 173kppd. Can't wait for this to go live and switch the 460s over. Should be close to 300k PPD
