I have Sli'd my classified K with (2) hydro copper GTX 980ti classifieds, but should I step up to the Classified motherboard to get the 2x16 speed or stick with the 2x8 speed?

No, do not spend the extra money. The classified runs x16 through a plx, and you have to have the cards very close together for it to work. X16 barely provides any difference, maybe 3 or 4 fps, so there is no reason to spend the extra money.

Stick with what you have, as x8 runs just fine with 2 way sli.

ok, thanks. I had to run my cards real close on my P67, I also have to run them real close on the Classified K in order to get the second card in an X8 slot. Fortunately I am watercooled, so the proximity of the cards with one another doesn't really matter.

Ok, with watercooling, that definitely wouldn't be a worry. The Classified K will serve you very well though, so I definitely wouldn't make the change

That is very clean looking. I won't lie, the drain on the bottom card did throw me off for a second, lol.

Yeah, I can just turn the drain towards the front of my case and into a bucket and it drains the entire loop, I practically had the same setup for my 2x580's, and 2x680 classy's and has worked well for me.

    thanks for the compliment

I just realized to changed the SLI bridge color, I REALLY like that! That part looks really good.

all I'm about to tear it back down and hard pipe it and do some general clean up, this was a slap together to get Win 10 and the new build to play nice before performing some final touches.

    thanks for the compliments.
