I got the same email. Was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Been patiently waiting, and am in no hurry as long as the card is good I'm good. EVGA, is a great company in my book.

Unfortunately for some reason the site declines all my payment attempts (2 credit cards and 1 bank account). I called customer service and they said that I'm entering something incorrect... They can't process my payment over the phone nor do they accept paypal or any other form of payment. I don't know what to do now... :(

This is my first step-up so I'm not sure, is there a friend that can use their card, and you pay them in cash? Also, are you getting the 1080 SC ACX 3.0? I'm still in queue since May 27th

It all worked out after I logged out completely and signed in again. I guess it was some bug on their website that was causing the issue. I was upgraded to SC, so yeah, that's what I'm getting.

they should accept paypal. i originally used a CC for my pre order of the 1080 ftw and my stupid bank declined it thinking it was a fraudulent charge. EVGA called me about it and I asked them if I could use paypal (my bank was closed at the time so I couldn't call them). EVGA sent me a paypal link through email and a few hours later my card shipped.

When I called the sales department and asked specifically about paypal the representative said they don't accept any other forms of payments apart from what's available on the website. There was no manager in the office at that time, so he recommended that I kept trying and if it didn't work to give them a call next day when a manager would have been there. I guess the paypal option has to be authorized by a manager so that's why he couldn't offer it to me. But anyways I was able to make the payment after I logged out and logged in again so it's all good now. I shipped my old card yesterday and hopefully I'll get my new card by the end of next week :)
