I was shocked and excited this morning to find that I get first choice. I gasped loudly seeing my name perched on top, loud enough to draw my wife's attention and concern. I have participated in lots of contests here and this is the first time I've won something above a gamecode. I want to thank all the donors, especially DutchForce since I'll probably choose one of his dontations and troy8d for setting this all up. I'll try not hold you guys up too much with my choice, but I want to be careful since I have power concerns.

worst case scenario you take the 580, can't run it, sell it to upgrade other parts of the system, or sell off the 9800 and old psu to fund a new psu

Don't be concerned about your PSU, I'll provide it with a powerfull enough PSU for you if your current PSU isn't powerfull enough. EDIT: The Corsair 850HX is an excellent PSU, SBB. I have 3 of them and it would also be my first choice if TheClassic's PSU isn't powerfull enough.

Honestly, the man deserves more than one for all that he is given here. I tried to get him one earlier, but one of the shall we say "uninformed" moderators responded to me that "EVGA already has a program to reward folders" completely oblivious to what DutchForce is actually doing here.   If EVGA doesn't think he deserves one that is one thing, but to pass it off that they have already recognized such exceptional generosity is quite poor in my opinion. The kicker is that these are all EVGA cards he is buying brand new to give away.

I'm a winner too  I may not be 1st but I still get something  . TheClassic I hate to say this (because I want it) but you should pick the GTX 580. If your psu cant handle it and you don't have the money for a new one just sell your current psu and gpu. I wonder what will be left when it gets to me, I'm number 25 and I was hoping for a gpu (since mine seems to be dying  ). Since we're all folders I think none of the gpus will be left by the time it gets to me . Oh well, wonder what will be left to pick from
