Hydrocopper Waterblock Input/Output Fitting Orientation

Just to make sure I'm not missing something...
 
You have the input on the opposite side (left or right) of the output for these waterblocks right?
 
They didn't come with arrows to show correct flow direction like my CPU waterblock did. So I'm assuming as long as the input/outputs aren't on top of each other (eg. both on left) then water is going through the waterblock.
 
To visualize, this is okay and water will go through the block:

While this is not and there won't really be any flow through the waterblock:

 
 
Am I correct with these pictures?

    Yep, you had it correct in your original post.  As long as you have one connector on the left and right side, it doesn't matter if they're both on top, bottom, or top and bottom.
