Just bought the hybrid fan for my titan X. Works extremely well. My question is whether the fan that comes with it can be replaced by another fan that may be more effective? I can't find the specs on the included fan. How good is it? Static pressure specs? Should I just use it or is another similar type of fan recommended? Is it PWM from the video card PCB? Thanks.

Anyone? It only has 2 wires so I think it's operating at the max speed?

I will have to search for it in one of the older posts.  An EVGA tech verified info on the fan with regard to the static pressure and rpm's and such.  May take a while to find it.

I ultimately didn't change out any fans as I was quite pleased with temps and noise level personally.

And there it is.  I was going through post after post because I knew I remembered it from months ago.

I was going to change them out for some Scythe GTs, but to be honest they ones bundled with the kit seem to be excellent.  I'm not sure as to the fan curve that's applied, but I can't hear them at all (in fact all I can hear now are the GTs on my H100i) and they do a superb job of cooling.  I've yet to see above 48 degrees during benchmarking or gaming and I have two of them practically sat on top of one another with a mild OC on each!

Thanks guys. That is most helpful! Exactly what I needed. I may play around with the rpm using a fan controller I have installed on the front of my case. My temps are quite acceptable too.

One last question: Is it set to run at 2000rpm off the video card? Appreciate it again.

Running SC2 @ max everything and @4K resolution I'm seeing GPU usage >95% and <=50C .  Modified to be fan as Push.
Good to see that the card will power a second fan (as pull) if needed.

Looked over several options. I want to make sure I understand this fan rpm. There are 2 wires running to the included fan. I assume then that the fan on the radiator operates at full speed all the time per its specs, or does the fan vary in speed with PWM from the pcb on the video card itself? Thanks.

I replaced the stock fan on 980 TI Hybrid with a 120mm Aero Cool Dead Silence. The replacement fan connected to the stock wiring harness attached to the GPU.

Thanks. Is the fan running at its highest rated speed?

I hooked the AIO fan to my fan controller.  Much nicer to turn it way down when surfing and when playing vids etc.  Then you can vary in games according to needs.  I have the graphic card fan on a custom fan profile using AB.  22% fan up to 35 Degrees, 35% up to 45 degrees. 40 at 50 degrees.  I think that is enough to keep the vrm's etc cool.  I run mine at 1500 mhz when gaming.

Thanks. I was thinking of doing the same thing. I have a lamptron fan controller, but no software to control the fans. It's the controller with 6 knobs and works quite well. I thought of cranking it up for games and then decreasing for surfing the net like you describe. I'm using AB too for the vrms. I'm wondering about getting a fan controller with software just for the 2 hybrid AIO coolers. Thanks for your reply.
