I have a few questions about my hybrid kit that I can't seem to find the answers to.
1) Is it alright to mount the radiator sideways? (see attached images.)
2)  While I know that the your fan curve controls only the blower fan on the card, does anything control the radiator's fan, or is it always at full blast?
3) And lastly, I will just assume that the motherboard checks all the PCIE slots for a display connection on boot, so if I need to move my card down to give the radiator space to fit on the bottom I will not need to change anything in the BIOS first.

Thanks!

What kind of temperatures are you seeing right now?

    1. That positioning may not be optimal but I don't see it affecting performance that much. As long as you don't position the radiator at the bottom you should be fine. Reasoning behind that is, the pump has to fight gravity. Therefore, acoustics and performance may be worse.

    2. The fan is on a full blast. I replaced mine with EK Vardar. The Vardar has been a bit quieter while pushing equal performance. Also, putting the radiator at the front of my case to suck in cold outside air has dropped temps even more. I see 45C at full load. See image link: https://goo.gl/photos/kBjTpGKD3d9TBx3m7

    3. That would be completely dependent on your mobo. I don't see it being an issue as long as that slot is capable of running at 16x and not only 8x.

43c was the max I ever saw, more recently I have been staying at 40c. Room temp is 18-20c was just wondering if that was normal because no one posted their temps when running on hybrid.
I might move the card down one slot to allow me to mount the rad with the tubes on the bottom, but if you think that my current config will not hurt the pump then I think I will leave it.
I don't think having it in the front will be the best setup for me. If I put my hand behind the rad I can feel a much higher air temp. If I had it in the front it would be blowing hot air into my case, possibly reducing my cooling.

    Thanks for the info.

Temps are great. I wouldn't worry about it unless you're hearing excessive pump noise.
