Anyone have the specs on the EVGA fan included on the 1080 Hybrid kit. I'm thinking of swapping it out for something with higher static pressure but I'd like to know what this OEM fan already puts out.

Thanks!

Isn't the "2.76mm-H2O" the static pressure rating?

Thanks a ton, Andrew!!

I may slap a Gentle Typhoon on this rad. Getting my 1080 today! This work day is already dragging!

EDIT: Looks like a Gentle Typhoon isn't much of an upgrade at 2.9 mmH2O. Anyone have any experience with the EK Vardar fans?

I just ordered a 1080 hybrid and am curious about this also. I think I'm going to try two EK Vardar F3 or F4 fans in push/pull. The F4s have more airflow and static pressure than the stock fan, but about the same noise level.

The F3s have less static pressure than the stock fan but would that be offset by the push/pull setup as opposed to just push with the stock fan?

The actual stock fan that comes with the hybrid is pretty good.

However, I have 2 Corsair ML120s running on my 980 Ti hybrid radiator in push pull.  I keep them around 60% RPM, and it gave me about 2 C drop in the GPU temperature.  Plus, the RED LED looks cool!

How's the sound at 60% compared to stock fan? Thinking of getting a ML120 when I order my Hybrid.

Sound is relative.  I never found the hybrid fan to be loud...so...

Can the stock 1080 hybrid fan be controlled via the card? I've seen conflicting statements on here. From the photos it looks like it only has two wires which means you could be able to control it via voltage but you wouldn't have any RPM or PWM support.

Nope no way to control the rad fan other thrn to unplug it from the card and plug it into a different fan controller.

Plug it into a source that would run it at 100% and it has a high pitch ringing sound that would drive anyone nuts.

How does it compare to the stock fan? I'm sure it gives you better temps but how much louder is it?

not very noticeable at all. u don't even really hear the Vardar fan until about 75% and higher. it moves alot more air than the stock Hybrid fan though.

my temps are about 1*c-2*c lower across the board - idle and load. for instance, my GPU is at 26*c as i'm typing this when the before temps were around 28*c.
