I would like to clean my GTX 750 SC as it has been in my PC for 1 yr 5 months with no cleaning whatsoever.

How can I remove it? I have a regular Dell Tower PC. I can see some white color pins holding the card, but not sure how to remove them and am afraid I may force something to break.

Any help?

Also, this GTX 750 was my first ever GPU. I have limited technical knowledge in this regards, and would appreciate some simple and easy to follow methods to clean my card. Not aiming to make it 100% clean, just taking out most of the dust should suffice I guess.

    Hi himmatsj,

The installation and uninstallation of a graphics card may vary depending on your motherboard and case. In most cases, you will have to unscrew or unclip the bracket holding the card down. The bracket I am referring to is the metal piece that you can see from the outside of the computer with the video ports coming out of it.

Your motherboard may also have a method of ensuring that your graphics card is secure as well. If it has one, you may need to unclip, press down on a clip, or move a lever that secures that card in the socket. Once done, lift the card out of the socket.

Please refer to your Dell's owner manual. If you don't have the physical manual any more, you can find a copy on Dell's site.
    http://www.dell.com/suppo...en/04/Products/desktop

The manual explains how to remove and install expansion cards for that particular computer.
