How to completely disable keyboard shortcuts on EVGA Precision X 16?

Looking around in the new horrid, awful settings menu, all keyboard shortcuts seemed to be disabled. However, if I press Ctrl+1 (or any other number until 9, I suppose) the profile numbers glow accordingly.
 
This effectively disables this shortcut for everything else (in my case, my respective World of Warcraft keybinds).
 
I want this disabled. 
 
What do?
 
EDIT:
I had a strong feeling this is not possible and is some sort of "core" feature of this new crappy piece of software.
Uninstalled and went back to v4.2 until this new Precision X comes with a better settings menu and a more thought-through interface, this has TERRIBLE usability.
What is a button? What isn't? Does the color white means it's on? Is gray off? 
Jesus, fix this please.

    yes found this with bf4,if i use ctrl and try to use 1 to 9 its a no go.

    I have confirmed for myself that there is no way to disable the Precision X shortcuts for profiles 1-9 unless you close the program.

    very disappointed with this. super easy to make a button to disable all hotkeys. cannot play any strategy games because ctrl + 1,2,3,etc. is used to bind units to control groups. whoever designed this lacks vision and thinks that flashy "cool" looks are more important than proper functions and easy user interface/control. know your market please. most people that even know this exist are gamers or computer geeks, and we love being able to control/customize everything.
