No, you weren't censored, you violated the TOS by posting an abbreviated swear word.  Try rephrasing your point of view without swearing, or other violations of the TOS, and mods will not touch your post.  Expressing your opinion in these forums is very important to EVGA, even if it is critical.  This has been demonstrated many times by allowing posts, let alone threads, to demonstrate a customer's frustrations with various aspects of EVGA's business.  That hasn't changed.

Back on topic.

If Agent Tiny has his way, it will be Ev-GaGa by the end of the year.

My Civil disobedience against TOS is only in retaliation to your companies consistant Sergeant Schultz attitude towards your unfair price discrimination of Australian customers. You seek to make it personal EVGA mods often do this this is often a clear indication of their depth of professionalism something that is often reminicent of the thickness of an egg.

Teachers often hide behind this thinly veiled shield of superiority particularly when they know the student has a point that is not easy to refute, they get a bit touchy and tend to practise suppession or avoidance rather than say delete and entire post you could have just edited out that which you found so disagreeable. The fact I should have to resort to profanity might be some indication to how slow you are to correct this ongoing pricing descrimination.

And that sir was my point...

Civil disobedience?  This is not the government; it is a company and a public forum with fairly simple rules to follow.  Any warnings, edited posts, or deleted posts from your time here are not due to any mods carrying some sort of a grudge, it's because of your failure to follow the TOS, whether you want to call it civil disobedience or, as you've admitted, a willful failure to follow the rules.  You seem to want to intentionally pick fights with the mods and EVGA as you've done this in several threads now.  Feel free, so long as it remains within the TOS.  If you continue to trod on the TOS, then EVGA will have no choice but to enforce the rules, from simple warnings leading up to some time off from these forums.  This is not personal, but just simply stating a fact.  You've now been given fair warning that the rules will be enforced.  The ball's in your court.

What I am saying is you force me to break your TOS to get you to pay attention to an issue you seek to ignore, much as people use civil disobediance to draw attention from government officials to gross injustices against minority groups who only seek to be treated fairly.
The fact I risk a banishment shows you just how desperate I am to get your company to see reason in issues of such pricing disparity.

Darron,

If your purpose is to get the attention of EVGA management regarding some pricing discrepancy in Australia, It wont happen in a thread called "How do you say EVGA?"  If you truly wanted change, you would have either called them directly, emailed them, or started a thread specific to your grievance.  However this is not what you have done.  You have simply made yourself out to be a troublemaker whose primary purpose is to get as much attention as possible.  This is how my 3 year old acts when she doesn't get her way.  What you are doing is called passive aggressive, and is akin to slamming cupboards and doors when you are mad.

So if you really want someone to listen to what you have to say, address it using the proper channels of communication and keep your personal vendetta out of innocent people's threads.

Darren, I have answered this numerous times in other Australian posts. Labor, tariffs, transportation costs, import costs, and taxes vary from country to country. I think you'll see that Australian pricing matches closely to European pricing in common currency. EVGA doesn't have any control over internal commerce of a government or country.

If you have any further questions about EVGA in Australia please email Duane at:

Darron,

If your purpose is to get the attention of EVGA management regarding some pricing discrepancy in Australia, It wont happen in a thread called "How do you say EVGA?"

Fair point how about EVGA doesn't respect Australian Customers ??

Attempt to make it personal again (edited as opposed to deleted)

So if you really want someone to listen to what you have to say, address it using the proper channels of communication and keep your personal vendetta out of innocent people's threads.
Fair point but you don't seem to answer the proper channels eg
I will reopen the EVGA doesn't respect Australian Customers thread

Darren, I just did a price comparison using Google on line and EVGA GTX480 pricing is roughly the same as many other vendors. That includes Zotec, Gigabyte, Palit, and INNOvision.
