I have an EVGA 122-CK-NF68 (AKA nForce 680i SLI) and this isn't an option in the motherboard area of the forum.
I'm trying to update my BIOS. It successfully flashes if I do it through a bootable disc but does not stick.
I tried doing it through AWDFlash but got a "file too large" error.
I tried to contact customer support about this but in order to do that I need to register my product, and in order to do that I need the S/N that is placed, of course, on the back of the mobo, meaning I'd have to dismantle my computer to reach it.

Can anyone help my figure out what to do?
Current BIOS version is 6.00 PG from 09/04/2008
The most recent update fixes issues with OCing quad cores (which I recently upgraded to and have been having issues with) and PCIe 2.0+ support which is relevant because I have a PCIe 3.0 card coming in the mail tomorrow.

Welcome to the forums..If it says it successfully flashed, you may not be looking in right place for the BIOS version..Go into the BIOS -> Advanced BIOS Features screen and set Full Screen LOGO Show to [Disabled]..Reboot and when the first POST screen appears press the Pause/Break key on the keyboard to freeze the screen..Look for the "Release Number"..At the end of the Release Number will be the currently installed BIOS version P number (P33, P31, P28, etc.)..Press any key to continue booting normally..The latest BIOS version for the 122-CK-NF68 is P33.

    Thanks for the reply.

I've check in three places for the BIOS version. First, I noticed in CPU-Z, I then tried MSInfo, and then noticed it still has the old version listed in the POST screen.

I read that I should try flashing the img contained within the ISO as opposed to the ISO itself, so I'm going to try that now. Wil update with results

EDIT: Still had file size mismatch.

If it's giving you a big hassle, try using NVIDIA System Tools..It's very simple to update your BIOS using it..Download the NF68_P33.bin from EVGA..Expand System Update in the NVIDIA Control Panel and select Update your System BIOS..Follow the on-screen prompts.

I tried this. Still stuck on the old BIOS version. I'm talking with customer support now through email about it. Still haven't resolved the issue...

There might be a setting in the BIOs that is locked to prevent the BIOs from being flashed.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

What do you suppose a setting like that could be called and where would I find it?

I did just "load defaults" within BIOS. Would doing this reset a setting like that?
I'm going to go to sleep soon but I'll try flashing again first and edit this post with the results.

Hmmm, don't know why you're having problems ..There's no setting in BIOS to block the flash that I've ever known of..Try prying loose the BIOS chip slightly and reseating it a few times, oxidation of the contacts can occur in older boards..Use NF68_P33.bin for flashing with NVIDIA System Tools..Use NF68_P33.iso for CD-ROM flashing..Insert a blank CD and right click on the NF68_P33.iso, then "Burn disc image" (depending on OS)..Or use IMGBurn to "Write image file to disc"..Set First Boot Device in BIOS -> Advanced BIOS Features to CDROM, Save & Exit Setup (F10 key)..Flash should begin when it boots.
