So if I stop at 85 you think I should go for a 33 X test?

We have the AC on everyday but it turns off by itself and on. I guess 32 can be my max I should go you have a point since it's Florida. :p

Oh, very well, sounds wise. So are you considering registering for the club?

Yes after I finally get to the 25 LinX and the P95 I will register if I pass both of them.

Very good. No I think you should just be happy with 32. You have done well. Congrats.
Besides, if the longer tests don't pass, you will need to raise a voltage just a notch or two. This leaves that headroom for you. And over time your CPU might degrade a little, usually you would need to add a notch of Vcore in that case too.

Hey another thing, in the BIOS is a "BIOS profile" thing, where you can save or load. You should save your final settings there. But don't rely on it for records, if you have a mobo failure you will lose it. Personally I keep my stock settings in #1, so I can revert real easy, and then go back to my OC easy on a different save slot. Also don't ever load a BIOS profile that was previously saved with a different BIOS revision (after you flashed BIOS to newer revision). You can find BIOS profile in "Frequency/Voltage control" section. It doesn't save/load ALL your BIOS settings, just the ones related to OC; like all the Freq/V control section and subsections. This means it does not affect your hard drive boot order.

^ do this.  Its a time saver incase you try to OC further or lower voltages etc and are forced to clear CMOS.   first thing i did when i made my 4.2ghz solid.
Also sorry if i confused you on the "tick" thing.  I should have said increment or next value on the list.

Thanks for that tip. Hey would I run LinX for 25 passes on 36000 and would it be the same LinX test as if it were with 5 passes?

Here's the routine, do this at stock speed first, after you have ran Memtest overnight with no errors:
  1. Start RealTemp GT.
  2. Start E-leet or CPU-Z. Go to monitoring tab.
  3. Start LinX. Make sure you can see all these at once on your desktop.
  4. Set LinX to 36,000 Problem Size (36K PS). Set for 5 passes.

I'm sry, I'm not sure I understand your Q completely. 25 passes would be 5x longer of a test, and would be more final last-word than a 5-pass test. It would also take 3-5 hrs (with your CPU at that OC). You have been testing at PS 36K, right?

Yes, I took the 25 passes LinX test at 36000 during the night. The 25 Passes test finished at 4 hours 59 minutes.
Results: 79 82 75 78 79 82 VREG 48

And Yes I have been taking any LinX test on 36000.
I can see that everything is going good so far. I just need to take one more test (P95).
