Hi Everyone,
Joined the forum today, after been on the sidelines watching and learning from the depth of knowledge here.
Some amazing rigs here folding and crunching.

I have been currently folding with no team (Default) for the last year 24/7, but have folded before that but had to take a break due to country changes.

So my main question is, when I join a team, does that mean my daily totals for HK-Steve stop, and all go to EVGA team??

I currently have 2 dedicated Folding computers, plus 2 others that are my daily used computer and a multitasking computer.
a total of 8 EVGA video cards folding and 2 cpu's.

Cheers
Steve

Any and all points you have earned for whatever team designation stays with that team, so you'd end up with a 0 point start if you changed that team.

On the other hand, you become part of a team, which in our case means that you are able to join in on the periodic competitions we have, get treated to our often whacky brand of humor and if you find yourself in a bind, have the rest of us as resources to help you out in an easy to find/use forum.

Hope to see you join the family!

Steve, your passkey is the key. If you use the same passkey, Stanford keeps track of you.

    In the case of yodap
you can see I came from w7forums and also had some guest folding treks and team# typos.
Happy folding with who ever you decide on.

Well, we would be glad to have you as part of TEAM EVGA!! We are always looking to bring new folders to the team effort. There are also EVGA bucks to be earned every month. It amounts to $10 if you reach each threshold. 750,000 is the 1st and 1,500,000 is the 2nd. Info can be found here: http://www.evga.com/folding/ look under promotions.
Welcome to the forums whatever you decide!

Thanks Guy's, for the warm welcome,

Really like the idea of EVGA Bucks, never really looked into them until now, as I would fold anyway.
Currently I put out about 950K PPD, I would earn the max of 10 Bucks every month, As I live in Switzerland, am I still able to earn them?? And claim them??
I did not see anything about country mentioned on the Promotions page.

Am still on the fence about joining the team, I find it very satisfying seeing my individual score and rank grow each day, week and month.
When I restarted folding seriously after our move,
    I was 146971 out of 1722841 with 99941 Score,
today I am 456 out of 1774011 and 177917258 Score,

My original goal was to crack the top 1000, which I never thought possible.
Now, If I continue individually, is to crack the top 250.

    Cheers
    Steve

    Welcome to the forums, Steve.

Very nice PPD..  (you would be one of our big producers if you would join our team).
And yes, you can also earn max 10 Bucks (Euros) every months in Europe and use them in the EVGA Europe Store (for a product or nice discount).

It's great that you've decided to join our Team, Steve

The Signature badges are linked to EOC Stats user ID numbers and your ID number for Default is 655645,  but your (new) ID number for Team EVGA is 676212.

So you have to change the (ID) number in your signature badge code (last 6 numbers) from 655645 to 676212, to show your Team EVGA folding stats (or you can choose to show both and add the new Team EVGA badge).

Here is your Team EVGA badge:

Glad you decided to join our team! Yeah, we definitely have some of the best people around. Looks like you pump out the points, it won't take you real long to do some damage. Hope we can have a contest soon, but the warm weather hampers that for a lot of folks. That's when the fun really starts! lol

This is my 12th day of folding for EVGA and have posted a few points.
More folding power oh yes have been gathering parts for another rig still need a few more.
Sure would like to drop a couple of Titan X in this build but will settle for 2 more GTX 980 HCs.
When finished will have my 3rd rig for folding.
Just takes a long time when on a fixed income have to save for high end parts.

No my best friend is down and folded for him yesterday as he has rather small PC.
One day folding with my rigs gave his team more than a week of him folding.

    Hey Guy's,
was just was reading the Why We Fold thread, My condolences to all those who have lost Love ones, those recovering or still receiving treatments, it made me tear up also.

My family and I are very lucky, to not have been effected by the diseases we fold daily.
Was thinking, I did not join here to benefit from the EVGA bucks, Yes it is a great incentive, as I have folded for myself for such a long time. It is about this community of folders for a common goal.

I would like to donate any of my earned EVGA Bucks to someone who could use them, because if your are here folding, you are here to be part of our, our family's and our children's future.
    is this possible???

    What do you think??

    Cheers
    Steve

Folding for EVGA bucks to me would just be redundant as the electrical cost is far more than one gets from EVGA bucks. I don't fold for them, fold for the cures that have hit my family so hard.
