    Holly Bat Clark!
I did paint some old Corsair DDR2 memory but they seem to run hotter after I did.
The UV Paint was from Clearneon 08266A 02759 Green Aerosol Matte UV Reactive Spray Paint

Having the Ram run hotter after painting would worry me a little. That's me though.

Yep that is why I tested on some old memory sticks, they did look cool but I would not have kept using them because of the Heat.
thedarkdad3 I do recommend that you Do Not Paint your Memory, it will also void your Warranty.

the ram sticks are held with adhesive...from what i have seen its not true thermal pads. I am thinking that is also why.  stay tuned.

I painted a set of ram spreaders with plasti dip and it didn't change the temps at all. Then again, I wasn't overclocking or anything either...

OR... get some Corsair Dominator Platinums and add the custom light bars - they look great.

Are they the ones that Corsair Link connects to and you can View the Temperatures and Change the Colors?

Nope. You're probably thinking of the old Cosair Pro thing from a few years back now which was more like an attachment that sat over the RAM sticks and cooler fans and had colored LEDs from blue through to red based on heat.. kind of like a sound bar display the way it worked. Was more of a gimmick than anything imho. Here, I found a pic of it:

Lots of people don't like UV mods but you did an absolutely awesome job on the memory modules in my opinion.
