I paid for 2 pump/res combos last Wednesday, dude told me he would send them off Friday morning. I sent him a message Friday night asking about it and no reply all weekend long.
I sent another message Monday morning and was told he had just sent them off that morning and should be in here in 2 days. I had asked me for a tracking number and he said he left it at home, I asked him to send it to me when he got home, never heard back from him.
His account is verified with Paypal but I think he's trying to scam me.
I've already filed the claim, but has anyone ever gone through the process before?

Yes, many times. Not once did PayPal not decide in my favor.

From my experience, if it was through Ebay, you will be fine although it sometimes takes awhile. If it was outside of Paypal, good luck. I have spent months on cases outside of ebay and they just won't do anything. I have lost a few hundred using paypal outside of Ebay. Lesson learned.

I bought a set of wheels for my car using PayPal, not off eBay. Thank goodness I did as they sent me wheels that where not cut correctly for Porsche lug bolts. I filled a claim, the company that sold me the wheels denied the claim. All PayPal asked me to do is get a professional 3rd party statement as to why I could not mount the wheels on my car. Took one wheel to Firestone and a Porsche lug bolt, they gave me a written statement as to why they could not mount the wheels on my car. Within one hour of me sending PayPal that paper work PayPal decided in my favor, complete full refund.

I had to once and I did get my money. But it was from a guy with 0 feedback.

I know sometimes we worry, but honestly you did not give the guy much time.
From Friday to Monday you file a complaint. I think you should give the guy a week or so.
Remember these people have lives too. They have jobs and families and e-bay is not their business.

I just filed the claim today
Last Thursday he told me he would send them off Friday morning, which I found out he didn't when I messaged him again Monday. And he still hasn't responded to my message about a tracking number.
He's in Kentucky and I'm in Ohio, he said 2 days, so if it gets here I'll close the claim, if not then I'd already have it open

I agree with Bill, you might be jumping the gun a bit. I would give a person a few days to get it on it's way.

I wouldn't give a week though, that's just ridiculous, if he wasn't ready to ship it in a timely manner then he should not have sold them to you. You paid and the item should be sent in a timely manner, a week or so isn't timely to me. When I sell an item it's shipped the next business day, some times even the same day.

EDIT:

I wasn't realizing it's Wednesday already. Yeah I would have filled the claim too. The no communication part is a bit worrisome too along with not shipping it when he said he would and that it should arrive to you today at the latest from what he told you in his last response.

I do believe E-bay is going to give the guy a week or so to get the stuff to you.
If it's didn't show up with in two weeks then they will act.

When did you win the item and pay for it?

I just bought a 660ti never got a tracking number, it took a over  week.
I am used to waiting, I have been buying from ebay a while.
I have a huge knife collection most of them came from ebay, and I buy a lot of used computer parts and never really had a problem.
Just that one time. And ebay will give them time to ship and time for it to get to you.
If he had a feedback of over 50 and near 100% your golden, give it a few days.

I didn't buy it off ebay, I bought it off craigslist.

When I say a week to ten days, that is from the time I pay to the time it is at my door.
Dealing on ebay will drive you nuts if you let it.

Ah, ok. I thought you meant giving them a week or so to ship it.

I bought a set of new MOOG stabilizer bar bushings from a seller on eBay for my daughters car. Paid on Jan 28th which was a Wednesday and the shipping time stated in the listing was 1 day to ship. He didn't ship it until Feb 6th. I contacted him a couple of times and got no response, but I did finally get the them and at a price much less then any place I could find them.

I called his number, left a message saying I'm interested in the DB-1 Pumps and XSPC Bay Pump/Reservoir combos. Hope that's what you bought from him.

If your PayPal dispute goes through, please let me know. I purchased from a user here 9 days ago, and have been told 3 times that it would "ship tomorrow" and I told them I would be patience. After 3 days, it was fine. After 6 days, I was frustrated but ok, and now I am at the point of PayPal dispute and negative heatware since I am not getting responses. I have only done a dispute once, about 10 years ago.

Curious, does this happen to do with 2 EVGA 780 Classified GPU's? Are they having to be shipped to Korea?

No, a motherboard, and not to Korea, as I just moved back to the US. It hasn't shipped is the part that bothers me. I am fine with slow shipping, but a lack of response and having to prod for info on shipping is getting a little bit frustrating is all. I am trying to stay optimistic, as I just found out my other systems will be here next Friday, and I can completely rebuild.

I received the classifieds today. They are in great physical condition. I will be moving them to some friends that needs eye candy soon.

Communication is always key. In all aspects of life, not just in business. Sellers that don't communicate (as a buyer you have more leeway) will ultimately end up out of business with that kind of crap.

Had someone file against the business I work for and they just lost. Serves them right for claiming stolen account. Paypal looked up logs and denied them.
