I am running about 30 cores on constellation. I also fired everything up early because I am out of town for a few weeks. I think that is giving me a head start, as many of the units take days to validate. It does seems to be faster currently, probably because of the increased demand.

Primary: i9-10200x @ 4.8, LianLi Galahad 360A, EVGA x299 FTW-K, 256GB DDR4 2666, EVGA RTX 3090, LianLi O11 Air

The Constallation Challenge is making an interesting turn.
When we started, I thought we might be stuck in 8th.
Yesterday, we took the 7th, and if I read Our Production correct, we will grab 6th within few hours.
Good job everyone, and great fun

Up to fifth place now!  We will need a few more folks to help us bridge the gap to fourth.

You guys are doing rather well I am guessing you are going to finish #3 or #4 I was looking at the stats and was trying to figure out who the hell this Orange person was so I thought I would come over and see.  Unfortunately he is in the same boat as I am when it comes to getting allot of his work validated.  I see he is waiting on ElricM and Haunted Forest[BlackOps] on many of them both of those appear to have downloaded 10 days worth of work for a 5 day challenge and allot of it will not get done until the challenge is over. But good job there guys and I am happy to see you doing so well.

Yeah, what Grandpa_01 was noticing is one of those Bunkering tactics. If you download a bunch of work, you can limit the number that others get credit for. So, if someone isn't going to make a huge dent by coming in late or isn't doing so great in the ranks, they can load up on work and just not turn them in until it is too late to matter. It is pretty shady to do in my book, but what can you do? I'm not suggesting the individuals that Grandpa_01 mentioned are doing that for those reasons, but it sure does take away from the fun of things for everyone else when you do it. The other thing is that if you do that early and get a fill of work at the beginning, most of the people will be waiting on you to finish. So, that means most of your work units will more than likely be validating towards the end of the challenge. Just my thoughts.

First of all, thanks for all the kind Words, and also very Nice With Greetings to us from unexpected Places.
Attention from other directions tells us we all are pulling the same direction, and having fun while at it.

I also see we seem to have settled for a 4th Place, and this within 18 teams. This was, for me, totally unexpected.
My numbers also surprise me a bit, since I was a bit late to the party in the first Place.
This event started at my 2AM, and by that time, I was all done counting sheeps. I fired up my first rig at 6AM, and the rest followed a couple of hours later.
I was at full Production 7hrs after Challenge launch, so by first Delivery was made prox 10AM.
I thought the numbers was ticking in slow, but Grandpa and Cuarc's theory kinda explain why. Bunker People held us Down.
Fortunately it's not the end of the world, but as Cuarc stated, "Shady Behaviour", I agree.
We have done a honest piece of work here, and so far, we have pulled this one off With Grace and style.

We have 28hrs left, and stuff may still happen, so keep at it Brothers

Edit, oh, and for those who might Wonder. I've got 82cores on this one, and it seems I've got only half of my work validated so far.
I'll probably receive numbers from Constellation untill Christmas ha ha.

Got a late start on this one...seems like all my tasks are pending validation!  I tried this out on my 4p but it was no bueno.  Got a lot of errors.  I'll finish this one out on my x79 and keep WCG going on the 4p.  Good work so far everyone!

I really need to tweak the 4P... I must admit laziness on my part.  However, in my defense I have to admit I've been slaying bluegill and rainbow trout for the last 6 months... getting back into fly fishing mode.

Orange... Opolis...AB... Tucker... Sajinor... you and all the team is what makes this us a Titan among teams... for all our size we produce.  Love it!

Any time cuarc, thanks for inviting us

Yes, it has been a short and fun challenge. The challenge contained all in all 15 teams generating points, and exactly 200 participants.
EVGA had 12 members contributing. The biggest team had 47 members contributing (Which ate our dust )
A special thanks to those of us who contributed. Besides myself, those were:

Wow I was late to the start and the end of this one!  Missed the UTC part of the end date with 127 tasks still pending validation.  It was short and sweet though and great job on 4th place guys!  It always amazes me how much we can do with a relatively small team.  Thanks to [H] for putting on this event!
