I find it funny that they give it a logo in English but it's a Russian only game.

yea bizarre stuff. guessing its not going to be very demanding and wonder how similar it will be to what we all expect from a Halo title.

My understanding was that it was just going to be russia only for beta testing and then made available else ware as well. I think a few other games did this when beta testing, cant recall which ones though.

I just hope that if it is true halo game for worldwide use that it is either buy once and play or free to play with decent ranking up system. I really dont want another P2W game.

If it's F2P, then its going to be P2W. How they make revenue. I hope its a buy it once at full price, and that's it. I really doubt it though, servers are expensive to maintain, I'm sure it will be subscription or P2W or Pay for credits.

unless they allowed dedicated servers expect them to charge for stuff. We are dealing with Microsoft, not Valve.

LMAO... was the original HALO series ever any good? lmao

Played the original on PC all the way through and thought "meh, must be a console thing"

They have so few games that have any depth of lore, that I guess we should let them have that one.

BTW, Destiny..."yawn" reminds of a mix between Planet Side 2 and Anarchy Online.

Yes, the original HALO series was good.  It's the only game besides Forza that I would even think about getting an Xbox1 for (still not enough for me though lol).  I really like the single player part of it and it has a great story and universe.  Back before I had a gaming PC, it was one of my main multiplayer games, but not anymore.  I got the season pass for Halo 4, but didn't play it that much since I have Battlefield on the PC (hard to play competitive multiplayer FPS with a controller after using mouse & keyboard).

when Halo came out at the end of 2001 it looked good, by the time the PC got it though, it was rather meh. It was late 2003 when we got it, we had seen doom 3, HL2, and Farcry Screenshots, halo never really got that big for us, and we pretty much forgot it after Halo 2 required vista we wrote the entire franchise off.
