So I bought a Hadron Air and I'd like to put a EVGA 780 6gb W/ACX Cooling in it. I was wondering if anyone has something close to this setup and could give me an idea about what the temp would be if running the stock case fans as an exhaust (Default). I would be primarily gaming on this system (BF4/Skyrim *Modded*/Watch Dogs/BL2). My parts are...
-I7 4770k CPU
-EVGA Mini ITX CPU Cooler
-EVGA Z97 Stinger MB
-EVGA Hadron Air Case (Comes with 500w 80+ Gold PSU)
-Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD/Eventually putting in a WD Black 1TB HD as well
-Gskill Sniper 1866mhz 8 GB Ram

I've found temps from numerous benchmarks online but I think they were using open test benches so it wouldn't be a accurate reading. I would appreciate any help or insight. If temps are too high I can always get a GTX 760 or 770.

I ended up buying those parts. The CPU on idle is about 45C* and about 48C* on load. I will update as soon as I receive my EVGA 780 6gb ACX card.

Those are very good temps for the CPU. Looking forward to your temp report when you receive and install your GTX 780.

So I got my 780 6gb card.
IDLE: CPU-45c
         GPU-43c
GAMING:CPU-57c
             GPU-65c
These temps were a result of playing Watch Dogs on the highest settings @1080P for ONLY 30 MIN. The ITX Case/CPU cooler may be good for lower chip set but definitely not an I7. I may have to rethink my portable build to a high end I3 or a I5 and possibly a smaller GTX card. Although another solution is just to lower the graphics so it'll run cooler. The GTX 780 6gb and I7 will probably end up in my Antec 1200 case (mush better cooling solution) till I figure out what to do with with my hadron. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated!

What's wrong with those temps? Those are fairly decent especially for a mini-ITX system, perfectly fine for long-term use.

I agree with kougar, the Temps are fine at load. Not sure why they are in the 40s at idle. How is your wiring run, and what cpu cooler are you using?

You should post pictures of the case and all wiring.

Are you overclocking the cpu?

No O/C. The temps seemed alright as I continued to game. I'm not used to having a mini itx so the temps seemed high (I've always used full atx towers). I actually just swapped my i7 4770k and the 780 over to my antec 1200 case. When I put an i5 (likely the 4590) and a evga 750ti (which should be enough for my portable gamer) into the hadron I will post pics. The wiring on the hadron I found pretty difficult because of big hands and a non modular psu but I was able to place the molex cable in the 2nd hd spot and everything else I zip tied together so it was a pretty clean as far as air flow. Also the cooler that I was using was the evga mini itx cooler.

As others have said, the temps are quite good.  Card temp is actually really good.  Nothing to worry about with that.

Keep in mind that you may not be able to post pics until after 10 posts.  It's not because we don't like you (we do!), it's just an anti-spam measure on the forum.
