    The EVGA Z87 doesn't officially support the Xeon CPUs, but this doesn't have to mean anything. 
    Since the Z97 Chip and MBs of other brands support Xeon (not officially but it works), I guess it could work. 
    But on the internet, no one's tested it so far or at least I couldn't find anyhting related.

    €: On the German Amazon page, on said it works with his MSI Gaming z87 GD65, so it should work on the EVGA board.
