hello
I just had a gtx 980 superclocked
I use a DVI cable to the screen of the PC, but also a 2.0 hdmi cable to my TV screen 4k
I plug the HDMI cable on the 980, but nothing appears in nvidia control panel!
I try to connect my pc screen, it's not working either, yet the cable works fine on other peripheral!
I tested with another hdmi cable, its not running!
help me!

i use indows 8.1

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can use both cables at the same time.

    Yes!

    I just tested

Dvi cable unplug, cable HDMI plugs into the TV

Computer puts out, I turn on the pc

Wow a picture! (TV displays the bios)

But the bios loaded, black screen, no signal ...

At lest on my Titans I can use the TV or the Computer Monitor(s) but not both when using the HDMI Cable.
I have to unplug my Computer Monitor Cables and then with the TV on First I then turn on my Computer Power.
Have you tested only the TV?
After it goes black unplug the HDMI Cable from the Video Card and you should hear a sound from your computer that a device has been removed then plug the HDMI Cable back in.
You may also need to install NVIDIA's HD Audio Driver.

    What TV do you have?
Which display black screens inside the bios? TV or PC Monitor or both?
To fix the TV not being recognized inside the nvidia control panel make sure you're running the latest graphics drivers from nvidia & also the latest TV display driver provided by the TV manufacturer. The TV/Monitor display driver can usually be downloaded from the TV/Monitors manufacturers website.

Try updating the software on your TV to see if it helps with the issue. http://www.p4c.philips.co...amp;scy=AA&slg=AEN
