I took my i7-2600 rig out today to blast it out with my DataVac, and realized I hadn't taken any pics with the H100 installed. Now I apologize because all I had was my phone and I am the worlds worst photographer to begin with...so please bear with me.

I wanted to throw these up because I know a few people asked if the H100 would fit in the CM690II even more so with the push/pull fans. Here is how I have it set up:

Don't mind the heatsinkless memory, I took off the spreaders when I had my Silver Arrow on there to test different fan positions. Overall I'm very happy with this cooler as it keep things nice and cool under folding and gaming conditions. I have the 4 AP15's hooked up to my fan controller so they don't have to go full blast all the time.

Anyway...just thought I would share.

NICE, looks really good!  I love that case, for smallish well featured, looks good and alot of nice options.  Is the H100 intake or exhaust?

    Thanks.

I have it set to exhaust to avoid pumping warm at that the intake of the GPU. It also gets a nice supply of cool fresh air from the 140mm intake on the front.

About what I figured, but sometimes there are reasons for non-standard arrangements.  What temps are you getting at idle/load currently, and whats the OC?

That's a rockin' overclock you've got going there.

I didn't think the lines would be long enough to run a H100 down to the bottom in that case, dual fans make all the difference!

+1 for what temps are you running?

Very peculiar airflow setup (front to back, top to bottom) but you have a reason for it.  Nice cable management for that jam packed case.

    Thanks guys.

Right now my i7-2600K is overclocked to 4.8GHz at 1.395 vcore. My ambient temps are around 22-23C. Idle temps 27-28C, under load it floats between 56-60C. Overall I'm very happy with it's cooling performance. I've been debating whether or not I want to put my Silver Arrow back on, but I really have no reason besides the fact that the Silver Arrow was my favorite cooler before this one. I have always been a huge supporter of air cooling but as of this afternoon my i7 has this H100 and my i5-2500K has a Antec 920 on it.....haha.

When I have my air coolers installed (I've tried a lot) I have two 120mm set was intakes where the H100 is now. It's hard to see, but I've also cut out the fan grill on the rear exhaust and take the fan off completely. This is a little different due to the radiator location, but it works nicely.

    Those are some nice temps.
I've been considering a H100 for my rig (which is almost identical to yours!) , but they are bl00dy expensive down under
by the looks of it your rear fan is an exhaust.
What are you running your top fans as?

Have you tried running everything as intake with just the H100
    acting as exhaust?

You are correct, the rear is set to exhaust and I have both the top 120mm set as intake. I was hesitant to try the rear as an intake because I was afraid of the hot air being exhausted from the GPU being pulled back into the the case. I was going to try it for giggles to see the results, but never got around to it.

Yeah that is kind of a bummer about it costing more in Australia. While I'm happy with the overall performance, if it costed any more I would have passed on it. It dances dangerously close to the RASA kits as it is and that opens the door to many other W/C options. I say this as I have a Heatkiller GPU block sitting in my closet begging to be put to use....ha.

    kody,

What are your load temps from? Just gaming or running any stress tests?

My load temps are from folding. During gaming sessions they float about 10C lower on average.
