When you get it, the spacing needs to be adjusted between the 2 power connectors because they're way too far apart, FYI. Other than that, cable management looks beautiful with it although I REALLY WISH it had an LED to it.

Why lock the other? I feel as if it belongs in both areas considering it's showing off the use of Powerlink w/ the GTX 1080 FTW in the 10 Series forums and my X99 Build over in the X99 forums.

But thank you though  I got to mess with the cables and make them look neater tonight.

Can't have two threads that are the same in two different sections. That's why I did that.

Thank you! For installation, what you're better off doing is unlocking both connectors, pushing them into the sockets on the GPU, and THEN tightening them. I spent like 15 minutes trying to make them the right distance apart, etc. and then realized how dumb that was lol.

I got mine last night, also. I watched the video review from Jay's Two Cents earlier so I came to the conclusion that I liked how it cleaned up his case, but it wouldnt do much for mine but that I would still try it. And after trying it, I really think it is gimmicky.

It's just a hot rail like on a subway line so they absolutely suggest that for even a card with one eight pin like the 1070, that you use two eight pins from your PSU to the link because, it is in fact not regulating anything. A strip of metal in a plastic housing that is carrying a lot of power to a $400 GPU.

    It will go on ebay.

No big deal. As long as the 12V and ground reach the card... Everything will work like before.

I'm going to guess Tech Santa did, or Bill Nye.
