sadly i think there is no other way but to install OSX el capitan. when you get the spare time/USB let me know if using el capitan sorted your problem. 99% that your driver \kext is faulty in some way.

Replacing the drivers didn't do anything, how do I replace the kext files with new ones?

Decided to try something. Went for another fresh install, (using graphics card display) and got a green screen before the installation even began. It loaded the bar all the way, then when it was time for the installation prompt I got the green :/

very strange. if only you had the option to install this GPU on another computer :(.

maybe it's graphics card problem after all. without another comp or installing windows on this comp we will never know for sure.

Just a quick update lordareon1, I get my card back on the 9th. 😃

And I had even more bad luck with this machine. Just as I was about to turn off my electronics, a Thunder storm rolled in and fried my Ethernet port on my motherboard!! Luckily I was able to find a way to utilize the second port on the board, which was previously unusable 😵

Ouch bad luck indeed, now I wonder though...
My comp survived few lightning strikes... What psu are you using that could not handle electrical surge :(?

And ofc I'll be happy to know what's going on when you receive the card on 9th :).

Corsair RM650

is that RM650X or the lower quality RM650I ?
anyway they are both in the top quality tier of corsair so i wonder :S.

my corsair HX650W was able to take direct house lightning strike and my comp survived...
do you use any surge protectors were you plug your computer cord at the wall ?
if not buy it :)
cost like 10$ and will save your expansive hardware that cost a lot more. (got it after that last lightning strike not to take any more chances)

It just says 650

And all my electronics are plugged into surge protectors, even the inexpensive ones. We have too many thunderstorms not to use them. Lol.

ow, i see. well the RM650 (with no X\I) use cheaper secondary caps, as opposed to the full Japanese caps of the RMx series.
but other then that they are the same.
strange that it didn't protect your pc from that surge :(
