Yep, it updates fine without linking it as the code is built into the badge. As you said though, linking it let's you click on it to go to your stat page and then you can check out all of the Team info.

I broke 5 million yesterday. Not bad for a few weeks on the team. I just got 1 980 Ti, and will be getting another within the next week. That will help a lot.
