I'm going to use your thread as a template when I get around to being equally creative, as while I've had many ideas of chassis and build ideas over the years, I don't believe I've thought about procedure. How much time did you put in before starting this thread? A week maybe?

Coming up with the idea half a day. so parts 5-9 days color no thinking knew what I wanted. Just got the schematic for the LEDs power button hd light pretty much all of that.

cant wait to see how you get the led's wired up and controlled. great progress!
I will be just wiring it up for amber LEDs pretty much have to sit there with the schematic wires and a 9v battery. Hopefully today will have time for the dry brushing and line art. Still have to decide where to put the hard drive cages. Also may be putting a glowing led GeForce logo on the artic cooling shroud.

Well right now hitting the green on the case with a black inc acrylic paint, alot of scrubbing.... alot.... to tone it down... and blend it in...

All thats left now is the hard drive cages put in. Line art, and stencils for the case, clear coat, install the gpu liquid cooler, take care of the dell case lights and power button/hd/leds.

Well went to install the artic cooling hybrid liquid unit on my 680 got everything cleaned up laid out, ready to install was about to use the thermal adhesive for the VRAM and VREG's heatsinks only to find out the tube was dried out and was a thick white solid peace of rubber....

This ARCTIC COOLING Accelero Hybrid on the 680 is awesome idles at 26-34c depending on ambiet temps load is 55-59c have yet to break 60c.=D and silence no blower fan noise!  sorry for the rats nest.... will be getting to that, now is just get things in make sure it works.

Things left Cable Management, airflow management, Stencils painted on, Line art hand painted on, clear coat, dell case light wiring-power button-hd led- figured out, DVD drive put in, Hard drive Cage's installed, Then I am done I think... This will look almost exactly like my halo 3 360 of course without the 360, halo 3, and bungie logos hahaha. Oh almost forgot removal of the dell logo on front putting in a geforce glowing logo, and the back plastic panel cover touched up and tweaked.

Use duallock by 3M and not velcro. You won't have to worry about falling off. Duallock is what is used on ez-pass to mount the RFID to your windshield.

yeah that is what I was talking about could not remember the name ended up getting the scotch one no 3m in any of the places I went today. Been doing alot of cable management, loving it though, this thing is so silent, gpu never goes over 60c and cannot hear it. Really nice to have a silent pc that stays cool.

Those thinking the gpu cooler is great for ocing, not really or at least with me, due to having to buy 3m double sided thermal adhesive tape. But cannot oc that great like I do with the air cooler. Pros its dead silent, runs cool never breaks 55c. If your someone that wants a more silent pc go with this, if your someone who wants to oc like crazy go with a real water setup.
