Hello all. I know its evga forum but i will ask about Gigabyte 1080 Xtreme. And i know you have good knowledge here.

So i have 2 pc's.

One with Evga Gtx 1080 and second with Gigabyte Gtx 1080 Xtreme. Topic will be about my Gigabyte Gtx 1080 Xtreme. Please help me . Please help even if i am asking about Gigabyte card. Thank you.

Yesterday i had ,one time event weird issue with one of the fan on Gigabyte 1080 Xtreme. So always after quitting game when temperature decrease to idle 40C , 3 fans stopping and i see FAN STOP logo , this is normal. But yesterday i when quit game, temperature decrease to 40C like always, but this time 2 fans only stop, and 1 fan was working and he didnt stop no matter what. Temperature was low 40C so temperature is not reason why he didnt stop. So i run game again ,make card hotter again ,quit game and this time 3 fans stop like it should. So it was random fan bug, bios issue or power issue?
But now its ok. Why this happpened one time?

This fan didnt stop:

Any ideas why it has happened just once? Should i worry?
So i am confused now. I cant replicate problem. I dont know why it happened once. If i must RMA card then will be problem because i am unable to replicate.

If this does matter my psu is Corsair 750 RM. Thx for any suggest.

Probably just a glitch in the bios and it "forgot" to. Stop. I wouldn't stress about it, as the fan running won't hurt the card at all.

Definitely do not RMA for something like that. If it spiked to 100% and stayed there, maybe, but I wouldn't suggest it for a single fan running at nominal speed, especially since it would only keep the card cooler and jot hurt anything.

I wouldn't. I like turning my fans on low speed all the time just to keep the card cooler. It won't hurt anything it one stays on.

You could alert Gigabyte through a support ticket, and see if they are aware of it happening, and they may be able to look into the bios and the software controls and see about correcting it without needing a RMA.
