According to the UPS notification and RMA info in my profile, the part number for the video card (GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ EVGA ACX Cooler) I sent in and getting back (03G-P4-2784-KR) are exactly the same.

The video card I sent in was dead. I couldn't even get into Windows, let alone run any program. No, there was nothing wrong with my machine otherwise because Safe Mode (which doesn't rely on the GPU) worked just fine.

If this is a brand new GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ EVGA ACX Cooler I'm getting, that's fine. I don't want someone else's damaged hand-me-down nor do I want my original card back because it doesn't work. If it did, I wouldn't have gone through this entire mess.

    Dear DeadPoolX,

I am very sorry to hear that you had a problem with your graphics card.  I can confirm that we are here to help with warranty and in this case a different card of the same model was sent to you.  The card will be a re-certified product that is fully tested and will continue with your original warranty.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you should have any additional questions or concerns once you receive your replacement.

While the part numbe may not have changed, the serial numbers will be different.

It is def not a brand new card. RMA's are working cards that are tested by EVGA to be fully functioning for the model they are listed as. They could be step up cards, which at most are 90 days old, or they could be repaired and refurbished RMA's that had a minor issue that was a easy or cheap fix, which could be a little more than 3 years old for a GTX780. It will be under the same warranty the card you sent in was. At the worst it may have a few light scratches or scuffs on it being its used, but nothing that would stop it from functioning correctly.
