Increased Score by 295 Points in 2X Time Spy, But Not Quite Enough for #1 Position (Back to #2).

I'm Kind of Beginning to Think that at least in this Time Spy Benchmark, The 6950X MAY have an advantage over the 5960X, But I'm not Sure.....

Got to get that CPU to 5 GHz --- Scotty we need more power

I'll give it a Shot, But I don't think I'll be able to gain almost another 1000 points even going to 5GHz in these Time Spy Benches.
When I look at the comparisons, I have higher Graphics Scores, But those 6950X CPU Scores DO seem to make a difference ONLY in adding up the Overall Time Spy Score.

Got it running at 4914MHz on the CPU and 2088MHz/1389MHz Memory on the Titan XP's.
Although I managed to get a slightly Higher Score, This CPU Benchmark in Time Spy causes a LOT more Stress (Faster Temperature Rise) than it did on the Fire Strike Benchmarks.

Like I posted before, There may be some advantage in THIS Benchmark using a 6950X Deca-Core.

Your RAM timing of the  4,096 MB Corsair DDR4 @ 3,000 MHz

CL 15-15-15-35 or better? (tighter)

Tighter timing (like 13-13-13-28 @ 2800MHz) and slower MHz, should be faster - No?

(slightly) lower CPU clock = (slightly) higher score? Must be a fluctuation. Hallowen is this just plain old water? If so it might take phase or your cascade (if you still have it) to catch the 6950X's.

I do agree, I think tighter RAM timings would also probably boost overall score in 3D.

The 5960X is on my SS Phase Change, But it REALLY Heats up Fast during the Time Spy CPU Test which is probably why I can't set it at 5GHz like I can in Fire Strike Benchmarks.

Have to do some more testing to try and find a "sweet spot".

I have a "spare" 3 ton outside heat pump unit, that I was keeping for parts till I replace my second zone unit.

R22 though, 12 years old last used 2 years ago. Compressor was sealed (valve screws closed) at service ports before disconnect by the service company.

Road trip ?

lol, If it comes down to it (and I'd personally would rather it not), I might think about throwing my Kingpin Dragon F1 Extreme Dark on it and use some DICE.

It's just that life is much easier just flipping the switch on the SS!

Sorry 'bout that, I forgot to click on Reveal when I finished that Bench.

Also looks like I dropped to #3 in Time Spy, #2 in Fire Strike Ultra and #2 in Fire Strike Extreme !(There are now more 6950X's scoring above mine in these Benchmarks. )

Looks like I MAY need to be in the market for another CPU....

lol, I kind of expected you to say something about that.

$1400 is the cheapest I've seen one at, But even at that price it still gives less performance-per-dollar change than the price of the Titan XP!

He is beating you by 2.38 fps in graphics test #2. His cards are clocked higher than yours too. Graphics score has more weight when it comes to final score.

Yes, I agree Graphic Scores are the most important. I need to change my Graphics Cooling methods since evidently, My attempt at using the GPU Only blocks aren't quite working out temperature wise with cooling the way I want with these Cards.

Really don't want to pay $135 each for EK WB's, But the options are limited.

Titan XP's at 2113MHz/1395MHz Memory.
My Graphics Score is now Higher than the 2X Time Spy #2 Position Holder, But not the #1 Position Holder in this Comparison: http://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/246852/spy/239224/spy/244448
