:-O just got a message from an inside source... My phase change is up and running and will be shipped next Monday! Now I need to find a GPU I want to bench out of my pile of cards that are building up.

Is that a GPU phase unit? Or a CPU one? I've always though it would be sweet to have both a CPU phase and a GPU one.

I just received an Email from Nvidia stating that TWO of my Four Titan X Pascal cards won't be Shipped due to reasons I don't want to discuss, So since I Now have a reason to Cancel ALL of them......I Did!
 
On the Bright Side, Things Happen for a Reason and I'm $5136.00 Richer Again!
 
, NVIDIA! , I'm going to go with my Original Plans and Run Four New EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classifieds in 4-way SLI on my RVE.
 
Hopefully in the near Future, If I see a New Graphics Card series released from EVGA, THEN I might consider buying again.

You mentioned 2 cards of 4 wouldn't be shipped so you canceled, is the Titan X capable of 4 Way SLI? I thought it was limited to dual SLI like the 1080/1070.

With the Earlier GTX 1080 Drivers, Some people had found ways to Mod them to enable more than 2-way SLI for Futuremark Benching.
 
Now, Starting with around GeForce Driver 368.81, Nvidia "Supposedly" has enabled 3 & 4-way SLI for Certain Benchmarking Programs Only (3DMark, etc..), But Still No 3 & 4-way SLI for Gaming and......Come to Think of it....... I haven't actually seen any reviews/benchmarks yet showing if the Titan X Pascal will work in 3 & 4-way SLI!
 
Like I stated in my previous post, I'm going back to Maxwell Benching in 4-way SLI where I KNOW it'll work Right and I can still also use Multiple SLI for Gaming too!
 
 

Looks Like they have Futuremark working again, But I'm not sure what they have modified/changed.

Mine is a dedicated cpu unit, but I am curious if it would mate up to the gpu, or if the collar is too wide to match the mounting holes.

You could probably get mounting hardware and/or a collar made for it for relatively little cost, might be worth looking into. It sure would make GPU benching easier.

Does anybody "just" run a water chiller in their loop ?
 
We used one at work for a vacuum pump trap, that puppy would chill subzero
 
Kind of like what you guys put directly on the chip  - used to cool the coolant / anti-freeze

Biggest Problem with going sub-zero with water cooling is Condensation on Lines/Blocks. That is why on my Chiller I'm able to set the temp just above the point that Condensation begins. 

While I'm waiting for  the other replacement Classy, Ran a quick Time Spy Bench in 3-way SLI with the Classys at Stock settings and CPU at 4835MHz and SHOULD put me to #13 Position in HOF (Once it gets updated on Futuremark).
 
That's really not too bad a start for some "Old" Maxwell Graphics Cards.
 
But Alas, even though these Maxwells OC/Bench pretty good, Maybe I MIGHT "get the urge" to change my
mind and go back to take another look at other possibilities.........(Heh,Heh)

Did you get them for free? If you did that is awesome. I got one of my titans free from nvidia. 

And Now, Here is MY Version of a Water Cooled "Hybrid" Nvidia Titan X Pascal Graphics Card.
 

 

 

 

Second Time Spy Bench with the 5960X at 4835MHz and the Titan XP STILL at 1418MHz/1251MHz Memory with the GPU Temperature hitting a High of 58C.
 
Would have been good enough for the #3 Position of 1X Time Spy HOF.
 

Now that I Know the "Hybrid" Conversion I made on the Titan XP works well, I'll start working tomorrow on the Second Card mod and try them in 2-Way SLI.
 
I Had to use MSI Afterburner since this is not an EVGA Product and Precision X OC doesn't recognize this Nvidia Product. Just gives an Error message stating "only for use with 1080, 1070 and 1060 series".
