Well, I haven't had this before, but now that my OC's and voltages are much higher, the system just shuts down at the end of Jane Nash.  No problem with single card, but quad-sli is a problem.  217@1.56875vcore,  with GPU volts high enough to attain 815/1805/1220-50.

If I drop the GPU clocks and voltage slightly, it squeeks by with P45's runs.  Trying for P46k, obviously.

Could it be my 2 yr old 1000w enermax PSU not providing enough power?

If you have everything running on the one PSU, then pick up a smaller PSU and set it up to handle all the HDs and such. That should help get that little bit extra juice you need to get over the top.

Thank Mr. N, that's what I was thinking, but didn't want to spend the cash.  I'm thinking the 650w thermaltake gpu PSU like john and hollowen run...only $100!

You know... I never have core 4 temp listed in eleet, but yours listed. 



@Q, for me to run @ 217, I can run at 1.45Vcore.  focus on completing CPU test 1.  see what temp your processor craps out at.  Mine craps out anywhere from 45/50°C (on the ECP display)  almost craps out like clockwork.  keep lowering the voltage until it completes.  But if you have a 1KW running quad sli, its amazing you got 45K in the first place.  Remember me and John going back and fourth about power supplies right at the closing of the old forums

oh wait... I found it  :) it showed up maybe was just weird when I was looking at it, or my overclock was too high when I actually looked at it.

I would say to cold. Before getting VapoChill mine showed up all the time. Now with Vapo it neve shows up. With Real Temp and Everest they both show -8 for all 4 core.

My GPU1 stays at 8°C, but GPU 2 goes lower.  considerably lower

what type of cooling are you using?
