Yeah, and that's with my laptop's max. 45x chip.  Too bad I can't coax 4.85g out of that crappy laptop bios.

Chilled Water / Phase Change / LN2 Cooling are All Great to use, But before I think about using them, It's First Things First on Air Cooling.

Besides, I Don't Think Newegg would Honor Any RMA's With Vaseline Smeared All over the Board! LOL!

Yeah...Gonna have to disagree..
I have a universal cpu back plate for all my boards.
This allows me to change from air to water to phase change to dice to ln2 on the fly. That way when your done benching...blow dry the board and set the air or water block back on top.
My board has been prepped for ln2 and that means the vrms are all covered under electrical tape and eraser and the heat sink sits on top, but I run it everyday using a water chiller setup that I never turn on. Just the pump is running. No fans or radiators.
This can be done with any board for the most part. Since now a days one can get some really go air numbers for gpus, but cpus...not so much. And since you like vantage, that's what you need most. High running cpu.
Look at how dusty mine looks, but runs under 99F for about 95 percent of the time.
But it's only my opinion though...

Edit:
You're a bit behind the times. Vaseline is easy to clean out of the cpu socket. Where have you been?

I Understand and That's a Great Method that you employ.  Everyone has different Methods for Prepping/Running Sub-Zero Temps on their Hardware.
I just want to see if there is a difference between Two MB's on Air Cooling before I have to do any Prep Work for Colder Temps!

Just Joking John, I Know it is Easy to Clean out Vaseline from the CPU socket (Been using it since 2008).
And Where have I been?
Well, since I had to Quit OC'ing back in January 2012 due to Ongoing Health Issues, I Guess I AM a "Bit Behind the Times".
I Turned 68 last September and after spending some previous months in the Hospital with herniated discs and then again in Rehab to learn how to Walk Again, I finally made it back here to the Forums.

No prep work my friend. Put the heatsink on and see how high it will go on vcore volts only.

Yes, That's how I planned to test the CPU on each Board with an Air Cooler, Did You mean to go ahead and use other Cooling instead?

I would  say start with air first. To get use to the settings of the board and how it works. Find what is stable on air (meaning check the forums for your cpu) so you know where to jump right to. then go from there.

Nice on the phase!!

Sounds Like a Plan, Once I get use to the EVGA/ASUS MB settings (Especially ASUS since the Last one I used was WAY Back with a P4C800-E Deluxe!), I'll Scan the Forums for stable Air OC's on 4930K's.

So looking back a few pages, Q has the dark.  Check this out:
http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1998931  LOTS of pictures.  Will be finished with another batch soon.

And John has a Sabertooth board?!  Check this one out:

if I ever get back into benching... WATCH OUT.  I am going to build an ENTIRE motherboard block.  It will cool every single component on a motherboard.  I will hold nothing back.. just a bolt on, and it will cool every single thing.

However, if you guys are interested in such a project, let me know.  You old folks have the bank-roll for it ;)
and goodness Hallow?  your like..TWICE my age??  and you JUST got rid of that mustang?!

Yeah, Even Us "Old Folks" Keep Taking Chances and Never Like to Say Die, and I had to Sell the Mustang Cobra before I Pushed My Luck Too Far Racing It All the Time!

Besides, It's a Whole Lot Safer Overclocking, Unless of course You're Using ethylene gas (R1150) as a second stage Refrigerant in a Cascade Phase Change!

Nate.... must.....BENCH!.....MUST......BENCH (after you finish my blocks of course )

Hallowen, a man after my own heart, overclock your computer, overclock your car!  Also... ooooo cascade cooling....that would be really sweet, I know you can get some crazy temps with that.  What temps can you sustain with your chiller?

Nate, love the idea of a full cover block.  Actually, a full cover+CPU block all in one I think might be a way cool solution for mITX or mATX board too.  But a 100% cover block for a dark board sounds absolutely awesome.

Although it will hold Sub-Zero Temps, I generally Like to keep the Chiller Temps Just Above Freezing (Before Condensation sets in) especially when Cooling my Graphics Cards, But I have "Frosted" them a few times in past benching runs.

My Cascade Phase Change (Which was Built in 2008) could hold a 350 Watt load at a Reasonable Negative Temperature.

Ahh, I have thought about a chiller before just to keep everything around ambient under heavy load.

How far below zero was the cascade running?
