Hehe I want to put it under LN2 so bad.. Just passed Cinebench @ 4500Mhz w/ 1.4Vcore, and it feels like it has a lot of headroom left...

Oh I don't plan to.

I am impressed though that after 40 minutes with it I broke my old Cinebench score. And I was only touching CPU voltage. Seems like it wants a different voltage because at 4550Mhz it BSODs like crazy even at 1.5Vcore.. So it's not vcore. Oh well, I'll look into it in the morning.

It's 0000101 codes implying CPU vcore but I know that's not it because it takes right at 1.4125 for 4550Mhz, and I tried up to 1.525 for 4600Mhz, to no avail. So I'm thinking it's something else. When it's done 4.8 w/ 1.45V, I know something is off, and I seriously doubt it's Vcore.

Chip loves lots of VTT. Uncore didn't need too much when I ran it, it was always a bump above stock.
Could be too high of an uncore clock though. Really needs cold for it to shine. Have your temps been in check so far?

Yeah I'm maxing out in vantage around 67C on the cores, 71C for Cinebench but I only use that to test temps. I'll try higher VTT tonight and see how that goes.

Nate and Q, once you turn an AC into a chiller can you turn it back to a working AC later on?

I am not sure I would recommend it.  Depends on how much modifications you had to do to it.  I had to cut the shaft off where the blower was so that rendered it useless as an AC.  I would suggest you purchase an old one off craigs list or something like that to turn into a chiller.  5K BTU works well.

idk, for all the hassle and how clean the core needs to be, the $100 A/C Units at Walmart look really tempting

On another note, I was temp testing my loop with all that copper with just the 655 and the temps sucked. I added a second res and a 355 pump out by the radiators and temps fell 10c at idle and it isn't even getting as close to what it was at load. Might have to pickup a second 655 for that res and hook em together and pull the 355 back out.

I imagine it's possible, but I wouldn't.  Who knows where all those screws go now, lol!  Not to mention if you bent the copper tubes to fit the cooler ( I didn't...wish I did though).  Easier just to buy another cheap ac.

Edit:  Oh yeah...what Nate said...I had to cut off the fan/shaft too.  Most likely you will have to do that too, as the fan gets in the way of the cooler

Oh well, what tools do you need to make a phase John? And what size compressors would be good for say(i.e. 1/4HP, 1/2HP, 3/4HP)... A 2 stage cascade -100C @ 300W load? Or for a Single Stage -50C @ 300W?
