this is so i can manually adjust my system for different loads and maximize my potential gains.... it's still a work in progress sort of thing...

Hey nate did you put any thought into making evaps for phase units with your new skillset. They should be a little easier than blocks I would imagine

I haven't thought of Evap heads yet.  Thinking colder, and more short term at the moment.  Not impossible to make the evap heads, I have a lathe too ;)  (just not CNC lathe)

Well from what I've heard, in Bloomfield/Nehalem CPUs the Xeons were higher binned.. So I'd assume they still are.

 I figured as much was hoping for first hand knowledge of overclocking on the W3680 but I'm thinking the price difference pushes enthusiasts to the 980.

Using the settings you quoted, got 21x214. Gonna continue work on it this weekend, I'm having some fun on Crysis fully maxed right now.

I have been craving crysis for the longest.  I hear 2 is really close to being released?

I hope so. I'm gonna preorder the Limited Edition soon.

I think its hard to navigate given enough pages to fill a 300MB adobe pdf file without chapters or ways to pick out specific subjects or tips or hints.  Is it possible this thread can be pulled apart into its own subforum, a la EVGA's "Get It Colder" subforum?

 
Thought about asking about that, but it seems like it'd be hard to do, unless they leave the thread open, sticky it and put it in a subforum called "Get It Colder", Dedicated to Hallowen.
 
Then we could just start other topics in that subforum and still post in this thread.

If you count the original GIC thread, this is the 12638th post. (original thread: http://forums.evga.comarchive/tm.asp?m=563571&mpage=160&key=&#101004023). Pretty crazy the amount of info in these threads combined!
 
I have considered asking EVGA to do a breakdown of the overclocking section (similar to how XS does thier forum), but i think that might thin out topics/posts too much. The GIC and GIC II threads have so much info, it would take a rediculous amount of time recompiling it into small categories unfortunately.

Do you have 100 posts over there? If not, then you don't have marketplace access.

If you want, i could PM him for you and get you guys in contact... lmk.
