800/1200 was the JohnK standard. I forget what the voltage required to do so, but if its struggling at 800/1200 you need to chill the card.

Nah it's not struggling. I'm max loading at 40C still, pushing 810, 1237mV. We'll see if it passes. I think this card has a lot of potential. Edit: 810/1764/1289 passed on 1237mV

Seeing huge fps improvements so far using 190.56 vs 285.68(I think) but it fails more often lol. Don't have a result yet, will in a bit.

great job there halo! and physx could be related to the physx version of software your using...the 295 was temperamental about that.

the only thing holding you back now is your temps. with a cold setup...you can take that 26k and turn it into 27K + i would have stalled on the new board and grabbed a phase or a water chiller... parents might not of been super happy with the bill at the end of the month though...lol but then again...you can run your loop on 98F water and the chiller would not be on all day every day.

Mhm but I'd be ~150Mhz lower on my other board for CPU tests, so it's a trade off. I would love a phase for my CPU though, sometime I'll just pick up a tek 9 6 slim and a koolance CPU pot for DICE benching. I think the card has a lot left. I just passed with 821 core. But I agree the temps are what are holding me back. Need around $250 more to get pots.

Grats on 26k Halo, I wouldn't put much stock in your RMA 758 I went through 3 of them each one couldn't clock over 4.3ghz in vantage. I wonder if Vista would help since the 295's are dual gpu??? Has anyone used Vista for Sli and/or multi threaded CPU's? I've seen some good scores for wPrime. Also looks like I have the first hardware kill for forum wars, the other day one of my 260's bite the dust. It just went out today for RMA hope to get one back this time that will clock over 700 core, even 756 core in sli on air would be fine with me.
