Ideally I want to be around 5-10C 24/7. Not sure how many TECs that would take though. Oh and I forgot the mention the flow of the loop would be pump-tec-CPU-rad-pump.

i benched mine, but only got 1554, but now im trying to find a good rom that has 4g and hdmi enabled. i was goingto install the cm6 rom and get some really good scores...but....no hdmi or 4g. and now that 4g is out around here...time to get right...:)

Isn't that good on a 1ghz proc? You'll have to school me in android tech...rooted and rom and all that stuff I'm not versed in yet.... Going to bench Heaven this weekend...what driver you using John, 265.90 quadro?? I haven't read anything about 265.90 other than the SLi fix for 3dm11, and since I don't have a second 580, I didn't dive too far into it. You have to Mod it to work with 580?

nvm john...found the modded .inf file and the 265.90 loaded fine with my 580.
I can't test yet since I have no LN2 and don't want to break down pots to put chiller on......just quickly loaded the driver with dry pots.
So are they (265.90's) any good?

gonna have to say they are a bit better to me as well. but it could be that they just happen to work better with this particular card..because my evga worked better with 262.99

^ Thanx Q. Couldnt push to hard with nothing insulated atm so no 5ghz. Its been really cold here the past few nights so I used some dryer venting and made four air intakes coming from my window to my rad (my wife loves me for this). It worked better than I thought getting the cores around 18C. Plus I've got a chiller in the loop as well (my wife loves me for this too). I just bump the chiller off and on.

man, that's them people running around talking about physx all the time...usually some amd people thinking they are helping when in fact..they aren't.  physx does nothing to heaven, but there is a way to clean your pictures up if you catch it in time. just close gpu z and then turn physx off, then reopen gpuz and take another picture. done deal.

I didnt either until they rejected my run and told me to read the rules again. Sure enough it says no physics. Like you say, it gives no advantage and my score was a tad higher with it off. I'd say the hwbot guys are gonna frown if they see physics on in anything. Like John says, if you forget, you can always fix it before you submit the screen. Other than vantage it really doesnt help in any of those tests anyway. You guys already know that though.

Weird heaven results...can get X1853 with 18,650 frames rendered (5.7ghz). Drop down to 4.8Ghz get x1773 with 19,850 frames rendered....I tested it 3x's same result.
How can that be?

Q This looks like what they were talking about on the bot and why they had to release a new version to make it boint ready. Something about how lowering clocks would make the test render more frames (actually run a little longer). It was kinda vague and didnt really explain it all. It kinda looks like thats what's happening though. People were getting higher scores somehow doing this. You may have already read this but here is what i'm talking about. @D1esel: John, Sniper and myself were a few of the original culprits in down clocking on Heaven...heck we didn't know! And we were quite po'd when they disallowed our results back in September. But this version was supposed to fix all that. I'm not down clocking blck though....humm BTW, Just hit #8 in single card vantage...could have had #7, but ran out of LN2...50L gone in one night!!
