can any1 give me some tips for 3dmark 06? i am getting beaten by smaller OC's and C2D cpus im running a 8400gs @700, no voltage increase yet and a 980x @4.3ghz ok i found it i OC'ed the ram to 520 and my score went up by about 320 LOL im now at about 23rd i need to get a pencil so i can OC it more

well im in 9th place with 900 core with a score of 2555. i need to do more runs in XP for this to get any better ima go try vantage now but i think i will have to drop the clocks as it was artifacting in GPU test 4 in 06

no go in vantage at all i think it has too much voltage and it is just killing it as soon as it loads. then i get the hard volt mod done ill try and get it better

thanks halo :) i need to get the soldering job done so i can tune the voltage to what i need it to be
i dont think this pencil mod is very reliable.
also im having a problem with aqua mark...... it doesnt work..... when i try to start it i get the program not responding thing and it askes me to close the program... any1 know what this is about?

Not sure I'm running 197.45 with no issues for my 295 though, actually for my 8800GT as well. Speaking of which I racked up some points with it.  Feel stupid though, I bought 2 angle fittings and 1 compression... Needed 1 angle and 2 compressions lol. So I'm making a small order from sidewinders. Think I'll run ice water this weekend, I just need shop towels, kneadable art eraser, anything else?

Never killed mine...I used 191.07 all the time. Although the new 257 and later drivers should work better for you.

Just use eraser front and back, install water block, and use lots of shop towels stuffed in and around the pci-e slots and covering the outside of the cards.

Yep, no prob. I Pm'd you some other pics that you would not want to run at ambient temps long term. But I run my 480's like above at mid 60'sF for general non-hardcore use...if you don't overvolt too much and just have a mild OC, the gpu heat off the 295's should be quite manageable.

Got the first "chilly" morning by southern latitude standards. Benching season is DEFIANTLY on its way.
Halo, I use liquid rubber. Almost waterproofs the card. Same thing Q did with the eraser, but poured on liquid rubber in all the fine crevices.
