yea really... mr Negative guy...

John-I have never had any type of condensation on my pipe tape.  By Frost King.  I would venture to say you live in a considerably higher humidity zone?  I mean in the summer Q & I get crazy humidity, but Im not sure why you would have condensation on the pipe tape unless you didn't put on enough.

Q, let me see if I can find some of the tape on Mc Master, because I bought some from them a while back

I got ~82k when I did in XP for sh*ts and giggles, but yeah, you only have your CPU at 4ghz and a 4890 but your only 3k behind my score.

this is true, but then again..depending on what card your benching....you still have a chance to place. and we all know that 2 points can move you anywhere from 1 place up to like 20.
and i also posted my failed attempt at getting high marks with a 5870 and 01...never the less...i still gave it a shot. win/lose or draw.

yeah, we had to use different settings to stay competitive, but with what your working with...you'll be able to shed off allot of voltage..is what im thinking. so start with your best clocks then don't do anything but drop voltage untill unstable.

Mhm I would like to try LN2 some time. But I don't think my mom will let me lol. I think I could get 5Ghz or really close to it with my C0.

Not ALL D0's are better than all C0's. What voltage do you need for 4ghz stable on your C0? I need around 1.35v on my D0 for 4ghz stable.

I need about 1.45Vcore for 4Ghz, and a little over 1.5V for 4.1-4.2. Which is why I think it'll do better on water.

MHm... I wanna try it on DICE or water. I think that'll improve it a lot since it'll bring the temps WAY down.

Yeah rudster wolfdale is the only way to run 01.  I can score just shy of 100k with a single 5770 and an e8600.  This benchmark just doesn't play well with anything else.

Ok thanks nate.  One more question about plasti-dipping the GPU's.  Do I plasti-dip over the warranty stickers and bios stickers?  I wouldn't think so...or there goes my warranty.

Put a peice of painters tape (or any low-tack tape) over the warranty stickers. I have seen people do that and the stickers be fine after plasti-dipping over them and then pulling up the plasti-dip later.

I don't know about you guys but the 480 looks better than I thought it would.
Got my replacement 980x the other day.
Though it still shows ridiculously low temps at idle and in bios (0C) this one overclocks a lot better.
Been running some benches hovering around 5.0Ghz on ambient water.
Now if I could get a video card that runs like it should.
