If you have a regular waterblock... on ambient water... you did not get it colder.  You are above ambient.  

ati sells pretty damn fast right now...dont think you'll be holding on to it that long..if fermi proves to be the better of the two. ati diehards will still buy it.

Im hoping that Nvida\ATI would get in to another price war and Nvidia would launch there GPU's at a lower price than ATI's, forcing all the GPU's in the market to a lower price point, but this isnt going to happen unless hell freezes over (which might at the temps you guys are running at). Im more interested in seeing Nvidia's prices than there performance.

I want to get the single fastest GPU from either ATI or Nvidia, whichever is cheaper. (e.g. if the single Nvidia card is slower but cheaper, ill grab that). I want to be sitting atop either the Nvidia or ATI camp.

I just need to find a source of income too.

wish I could bench tonight.. my chiller fan froze up... I guess thats what happens during a snow storm when u leave it outside!  damn ice.  Will fix in the AM.

LOL!! I can't believe this thing.. I'm running the fx5500. It's soooo slow.. BUt I'ma pick up 5 or so WRs with it if it works in XP.

LOL! So old! Is it the PCI version though? 2 of the 3 guys on the PCI page are using i7's around 4.2-4.4. Otherwise, on the bot, the standard version should be easy to take all of them. (is the standard AGP though? then of course that would mean you are using PCI if on you x58/i7)

Do you have any intel stock heatsinks laying around? I've seen people use those for ghetto modded gpu cooling(on older cards with a small core), and they actually worked pretty well.

Just put your score back up john, if evga doesnt make the best cards so be it. Im going out on a limb here but does it say there needs to be anywhere. (im to lazy to read rules) Im not trying to be dramatic but I havent had an evga part in a while does that mean I shouldnt fold/bench here. I think that anyone who contributes to the forum should be welcome to all contests/competitions. Besides maybe if all the top rigs have no evga parts it will light the well needed fire under their arse.


That being said looks like shamino is going to take a crack at the dual socket board.
