yeah, i think that was it....halo seems to be quite far from that number....probably needs far more voltage than he is giving it.

Mhm but isn't that rule for on water? I only have 1 card on water currently. With how the air one is performing to how the water one used to perform on air, I'd say the cards are close to equal, and that 800/linked/1200 should pass fine @ 1200mV. (Which was the JohnK800 rule IIRC) I had the PSU give out on me last night I believe. I was at about 760/linked/1250 with 1188mV, and in the part of New Calico where the rockets are going through the asteroid field the whole system just shut off instantly. Kinda cool but scary at the same time. I get the feeling when they're both on water doing 800+ that I'll need to use my Silencer Pro Gold 800W for the second card. I'm still not sure though why others were getting 40-41k at these clocks though.. That confuses the hell out of me.

Hehe.. Once I get back from Tropical Smoothie I'm gonna have the CM 800W PSU set up to run the second CPU 8 pin connector and the second card. No such thing as overkill.

normally i would agree, after-all i'm building a dual sr2 motherboard planned for individual loops for nearly every device + working trying to get a custom Tek cooler + engraved blocks ext.

You will have to forgive him, he doesn't know how we roll in this thread. I has THREE power supplies, all PC Power and Cooling (1500,800,750)... and none of them have even turned on in over a year. SHAME on me. My CNC has been getting overclocked more then my computer(s) and occupies ALL of my time.

paper clip on the 24 pin the green wire to a black one on the PSU not connected to the mobo and it should work fine. Don't waste money on an adapter that does the exact same thing... P.S. Looks like you got a steal for a bstock card putting out clocks like that already. I can't wait until you get both on water.

Nope that didn't work.. When I did that the main PSU wouldn't start. And yeah, I've been really impressed with this card's clocking ability so far.

Man... When both cards are on water.. This is gonna be insane. Best so far with Physx: http://3dmark.com/3dmv/3405780 Best without: http://3dmark.com/3dmv/3405754 To me, that seems really high for one card being on air and the clocks only being at 742Mhz/linked/1248. It's gonna be sick with both on blocks at over 800 core...

Wow! The B-stock card has VRAM capability up to 1282Mhz! That's just as high as my other one! Jeez. I'm impressed. Side note: Vantage passing @ 4.56Ghz, still got a lot of headroom though I think. I've only touched CPU Vcore and CPU VTT, Vcore @ 1.5V and VTT at +225. I need to get this chip cold to bench higher though, I'm thinking around 4.7-4.8 will be the max I can bench on ambient water.

@John, Q, Nate If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate any pictures you have of running DICE or LN2 rigs, fullsize or scaled down. (Not below ~600pix width though) I'm gonna be running a quick little info type article over at CMHD and LN2 is going to be one of the main topics, along with other methods of extreme cooling, i.e. DICE, SS, Cascade, chillers, etc. I'll see if I can get Sdumper or Runmc to talk with me on SS/Cascades. Also any comments you have about running LN2 would be nice because I could quote you in it. Note: You can either email me at EVGAhalo003 at gmail.com, or PM me here or on XS.
