Thanks guys, really enjoying my 4-way classy at the moment. Since getting this board I've gotten 200 points easy, huge improvement over my 758 X58. This was the first time I've used the 4-way with DICE benching with it was a breeze. Also I lapped my Koolance V2 pot down to the copper, now the temp probe is only off from my bios by 1-2c. The pot is more responsive, wPrime 1024 was sweet it actually made the pot boil heavy during load. I had about 1/4 of the pot full of acetone wPrime 1024 was making it almost overflow... Wish I'd taking video of it. I was using a cheap brand of thermal compound which was freezing up under the pot it and was giving me horrible temps about -40/-30c. Last-night I swapped it out to Antec formula 5, made a world of difference -58c. Next time I'll have to adjust Vcore in bios, e-Leet maxed out at 1.65v. Hoping that I can get through 06 @ 5GHz+ OC not stuck at 4.9GHz. Thought I'd share my findings so it could help someone else.

I'd skip the watercooled version of the 4-way board and just go with the regular and save some $. @threedhero...you can go past 2.0v in eleet...or is that determined by the chip itself? I forget.

I'm not sure either I was only able to go as high as 1.63Vcore in eleet, haven't looked into the bios yet. The CPU acted like it can take more volts without any problem. I'd like to try at least 1.7v under DICE. Thinking 1.75Vcore should be max under DICE, any thoughts? johnksss
so what did you do with the 758?
My 758 has been dead for about 3-4 months, it would have been a great gaming rig though...

Well, I started off with 06 and got a good run (for me anyway) right off the bat. Ran 03, crash...then no post. Clear bios but keeps cycling between 68, 69, F3, C1, back to 68...over and over. I thought video, but popped vid card out and put in an air cooled 8800 ultra...same thing. Popped out each stick of ram one at time..still same thing. Any ideas?

I'm finding mys gpu is a very very poor overclocker. No condensation in cpu. Took cpu out and boots right up in my laptop. Could every stick of ram be SHOT? Cpu (check), replaced 580w/ old gpu that I know works (check), cleared bios (many times, check). Only think left is RAM and mobo.

Perhaps you've blown a cap or mosfet on the motherboard it's self or you have you have water somewhere causing a short. Maybe try unplugging the PSU power from the board and taking out the battery for 10-20 minutes to let all the power out of the caps and mosfets, before bootup clear CMOS and try to boot.... If that doesn't work try taking the ram out and heating the slots, could be too much jelly in the ram slots and/or pci-e slot... Have you tried each stick of ram one @ a time? 5.7GHz for 06 is awesome great F-ing job Q!!! Also I thought I read somewhere 06 degrades the 980x not 100% on that but you said the CPU still works....

no...my cbb is @ -120c. Plus I let things warm up to just below 0c, and still no go. Maybe RAM slots are too wet... I'm just glad my cpu is ok....I don't care about anything else. Hopefully I'll be back in business by tonight.

Sorry bro I hope it's not the board but hey it could happen.... You'll need jelly in the first ram slot at least maybe second as well... Even my DICE runs go wacky with no jelly in the ram slots so Ln2 should be worse..

I didn't even get to watch that '06 run...just watching temps and carefully pouring making sure I don't hit my CB's. I memorized my total frames on each test then jotted them down when it was done, lol! It's hard work, man!
