Well when I log into my microsoft account it says no digital content I preordered it I can start my xbox one and it shows up where it says ready to install I'm installing the preload now on my xbox one. but I don't see it in my digital content in my microsoft account online from my computer. in under my devices I have my xbox one and pc listed. how to I get it to my pc to preload I have the email with the order number, I tried microsoft tech support waited 2 hours and it just hung up on me. Also my update is applied all updated to the right build.

I am now on my 3rd hour downloading and only 30GB are completed.
The MS Store must really be getting Hit Hard today.

Wow. That's terrible.

I miss the good o' days with disc installs and then the small update patch afterwards. 80GB come on lol millions are downloading to slow speeds to a crawl.

The last time I had a game on DVD after it installed the update for it was 2 times the size of the DVD.
 
Well now that this new Game is Loaded you still cannot Play it Yet! 9 More Days to Go!  (11 Oct 2016)
 
This will most likely be the Last Microsoft Store Game or Application I Pay for Or Even Install, other then the Forced Installs by MS.
Why Because one reason is even if you uninstall one of the Apps like Tweeter it installs it back on.
But the Main reason is you can not select the location for your App Installs so it all goes on your C: Drive.
Fixed I really hate to have to learn a new OS, also found you can move MS Store Apps to a new location so I guess I good.
DO NOT DO THIS ONE or is this the fix
 

Downloaded it today, no issues. Took about 2. 5 hours. The Gears Ultimate Edition (not GOW4) is going slower than the GOW4 download.

Thanks. Ugh. I wanted my 20% Prime discount! Crafty MS only offering digital going that route if you want the game on PC. I pre ordered Mafia 3 for now in the mean time. I was going to pre order both. But, held off on GOW 4. Glad I asked. Because I was going to pre order the Xbox One version thinking MS included a code with it for PC as well.

2TB would be my pick if I really wanted it. Just curious. You rather play it on console instead of PC? PC is going to be the bomb version if they deliver like they say they are going to. Plenty of graphic options in the menu..... 

Let say I have an Xbox and Xbox 360 and I have not have had them hooked up for more then a few years now.
I really do not play games that much but when I do it is on my DarkTitan Rig (PC)

If i get the Ultimate digital version to use for PC does the xbox version that comes with it have to be tied to my account on pc (if there's such a thing, haven't delved into windows proprietary gaming platform) or can I give the code to a friend who would use it on Xbox one? (I have one but don't use it).

I already have the Xbox One version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. Are the two versions of the game linked?

The Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition are different versions. There's no link or crossover between the games.
As you'll need to have a Microsoft account to sign in to Xbox Live to play, you can earn achievements and gamerscore in both games. However, any progress you make on the Xbox One version will not carry over to the Windows 10 version, and vice versa.
 

For the Xbox Anywhere (get both Xbox 1 and PC versions) you have to buy the digital version. If you buy a code to download GoW4, you only get one code that works for both PC/Xbox, you don't get 2 separate codes. You use the one digital code on your preferred console and get the other tied to your account to use whenever you want. Amazon is selling a digital version of GoW4 Ultimate that works for both consoles, but you only get the one code and no physical steel book.

That would be nice. If they sold a Collector's/Ultimate Edition with all the physical content but instead of a disc, just include the code card.
