I would love to try the game but I ordered my cards 4 days before the promo and I cant see spending the money on a game I wont really play when BF1 comes out.

got it on my xbox one but how do I get it on my pc I have them both on devices on microsoft account, also on the xbox app in my win 10 it is or can be connected the both my pc and xbox. how do you get it downloaded on your pc? do you have to stream it from my xbox one to my pc?.

If I do buy this game, I will absolutely get the digital version (since I have both a gaming PC and an Xbox one)

yes from my microsoft account online. thats digital right it automactically showed up on my xbox one install but how to get it on my pc
 

Xbox app on your PC and go to store from there and it should show on the GOW4 page in the store as install or already owned and let you install it I think.  I was lost at first too when I had my code but didn't know what to do with it.  
 
I went went into the xbox app and entered the code and installed on pc first but dont' think it matters.  Tried it on my xboxone after playing on pc and quickly went back to pc...huge difference between the two.

Yes it does...I game on an x34 Predator 21:9; 3440x1440.

Fits the screen perfect imo....I didn't notice anything off about the hud but it's just for reload and weapon selection I think anyway as far as what it shows.
 
I LOVE it...i was kinda burnt out by #3 and kinda limped through that one many years back but this one I felt like I felt playing the first one.  Story isn't as great as the original since but i enjoy the story.  Graphics look gorgeous to me and I love the sound.  The AI is a little less than in the past but it kinda fits into the story the fact the enemies aren't.  
 
I'm sure some hard core fans could complain about some parts of it but I don't have any complaints really, just little things, etc.  I'm about 2 hours in I think.

80GB?!?

Just finished. Great ride while it lasted. 7.5/10 Campaign wise. Main cons being way to many cut scenes and poor acting. I found the acting to be completely unacceptable as a huge GOW fan. It just pales in comparison to 1-3. I just did not give a damn about the characters either in this one compared to 1-3. 

Now its saying its downloaded 2.84 GB of 10.80GB.  Thought the game was like 73GB total.  Is it downloading in increments or something?

Just found out the game is not running in fullscreen mode. Move the mouse towards the lower bottom. Taskbar will come up. Ugh. Even though the in game option is set to fullscreen. Its not using it.
