What is the letter/letters after the 1010, if any? For example is it a 1010a, 1010ce etc?!?!? Are you concerned with keeping your warranty? From researching this topic for others in the past, it seems that HP's 8xx series of bios is what is needed to let 6xx and above series Nvidia g-cards work with there older desktops. Unfortunately, they didn't make that bios available to a lot of their older desktops, which makes you spend money in some way....and im sure that's not a accident. The only other option to you, if that bios ends up not being available, are cards from MSI that have a legacy/master switch built on them to be compatible with older legacy mobo bios. Evga does have cards with bios switches too, but I cant say for sure if that would work in this case because im not sure if they have the bios to go with the card and have it setup for that type of use. You would have to ask evga to find that out.
