Still have issues with this set. Idle temps are up by a few degrees with this set too, booting back into windows 7 with 347.88 drivers loaded results in idle temps returning to normal.

Current build DOES support SLI.. I have it enabled under forced by copying FO3/NV SLI profile into Fallout 4 directory in drivers by first using nVidia inspector.

Mine works flawless with both 970's @ 99% utilization

Cool. Now everyone that owns the game will know how to get it working.

Finally, as set of drivers that I can use. They're working well enough that I'll leave the Fury X out plus I ordered a Titan X Superclocked. When it get's here I'll put the ACX2+ on it and go back to the Noctua NH-D15 for an all air solution and all stay well in the future!

edit to add: Just ordered another hybrid kit.... seems I'll be staying with water cooling after all

No improvement for me. I ended up making my own custom bios to remove the tdr issues. Second day of testing and still haven't experienced a single tdr yet.

Looks like driver 359.00 is ready

Is there any difference between the files from nvidia and the files from EVGA?. Also, I had to take out most of my overlcock to get these stable. Highest I can overclock my 2x980ti's with these drivers is +60.

Which card do you have? Do you have this BIOS posted somewhere?

I have a reference 980 Ti with the hybrid kit installed. I have not uploaded my bios anywhere yet, as I want to make sure I am completely happy with it before sharing. I edited it again on Tuesday, as I managed to crash Dragon Age Inquisition, although that game is pretty buggy anyway, so who knows whether it was nvidia's drivers or EA's coding. After my last edits, I have been unable to make it crash further despite playing for another 4 hours. I am currently 24 hours flawlessly folding with it, since I'm working nightshifts at the moment, and previously completed a 5 hour run of Unigine Valley. Had a couple of hours solid on The Witcher 3 and MGS V with no issues, but that's the limit of my testing so far.

Basically it has increased power limits/tdp, lower clock state voltages are increased for stability, an expanded boost table and it will run under load at 1405MHz @ 1.199V without any throttling whatsoever. Any issues I have with it have been whilst it switches between the lower power states (this is what DA:I likes to do, which is stupid and poor programming), so I am still tweaking voltages there currently. My card has a low asic of 59%, so I suppose anyone with a higher asic card should have a lower amount of stability problems than I do.

Sajin has made a great bios if you are looking for something to unlock your cards full potential, I've really gone for stability and modest clock more than anything else.

So I have an issue I'd appreciate some expert EVGA advice with.

Starting three driver updates ago, my games all get stuck at 50 FPS instead of the G-Sync'd 60 FPS my system is capable of. Mind you, I have 980 Ti Classy's in SLI with a 5930k on an Asus Rampage V Extreme. I run games in 3840x2160, of course.

However, I dropped the resolution down to 1600x900 and still couldn't get over 50 FPS in ANY game I tried.

The only solution I've come up with is rolling back the driver to the point before the problems start.

Any advice, help, tips, wisdom, or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. I do prefer to keep my system's firmware and software current whenever possible.

-Thank you for your time and consideration.

I guess this belongs here as this is where my trouble all started.

When installing the latest version of video drivers, 359.00 for my two GTX980 TIs, I ran into an issue. It kept spitting out that the installation failed?

I found this rather odd as I have yet to experience this since NVidia started offering "clean installation" of their drivers via the check mark box.

So I reverted to my old ways and downloaded the latest driver cleaner, or what has now come to be known as "Display driver uninstaller", updated 11.24.2015

Clean uninstall and try again. Nope, still no go.

So clean uninstall again and try installing GeForce experience instead. Maybe it will install it better.

Nope. GeForce experience also failed to install:
    Virtual Audio 1.2.31 Failed
NVIDIA GeForce Experience 2.5.15.54 Not installed

Now I'm at a loss and can't seem to install any NVidia drivers on my system.
