You know what, I was about to install 290.53 but I'll go ahead and give these a shot.

I will either find a way, or make one.

Sweet now some of us can stop complaining about how long it's been since WHQL drivers.

Hopefully this fixes all the x58 issues. I'll download it later today.

Well with SLI 580s BF3 seems good, only have played Bazaar, Caspian, and Firestorm. Will try B2K now, and later a bit of Skyrim and Shogun 2.

One thing to say bout BF3 though, I am no longer getting the flashing on the map that I used to. By that I mean textures/the map in the distance would flash.

Don't get your hopes up, BF3 still runs like crap on ultra. Game still lags and stutters and drops into the 40 FPS range. It never used to have this issue until DICE released their first patch. After that patch, performance went down the toilet.

like stutter? as in its out of view so the map not sure if it should load that area or not?

No issues in BF3, just played Oman and all I can say is "Oh Man!" Was in the chopper gunner the whole time and everything was smooth and flawless.

@warlord, I guess it is considered that, haven't had a single issue yet.

Played some Skyrim, I was not getting 1400 MB of memory used in Whiterun before (now I am, looks good!), nor 60+% GPU usage on both cards, used to be stuck at 50% each, game play seemed sluggish before now it doesn't!

BF3 not running well on ultra in 1600p with two 580 3gb cards? You're doing something wrong then............drop AA down to 2x and watch your minimum frames increase by twenty.

Yeah at 1600p AA isn't even needed.

Depends who you ask :) I am pretty sensitive to AA and can telll on 2560 res and also tell difference between 4x and 8x pretty easily... I hate jaggies!! Much of why I love FXAA so much

I'm really disappointed there's still no proper SLI profile for SWTOR.

And Nvidia and Bioware's refusal to acknowledge this problem, is really taking my patience and good will to its limit.

The game ran fine in beta, but ever since launch it's the same issue. Which goes exactly as another Quad SLI 590 user said in a 590 owners/enthusiast forum:

Shinobi Jedi, i'm getting crushes too. and right after crash only one of four GPUs continue to "work", other 3 sit at 0% load, 0.875v and nothing can make them work again except reboot. it happens roughly after 2-2.5 hours of playing and first symptoms are dissapearing textures

This is exactly what has been happening to me since the launch of this game. And to be clear, this didn't happen at all during the beta when Hi-Res textures were enabled.

This is the only game I have issues on. Everything else runs 120fps on full blast on every game, except the highest setting in Witcher 2 for AA. BF3, Skyrim, Batman - games with more complex graphics - all run better than SWTOR.

I have never OC'd these cards, I don't mess with voltages, they have been a dream except for SWTOR..

I'm ready to walk away from this game, and I'm not an MMO guy, but got into it as a Star Wars geek.  If BF3 wasn't running so rampant with cheaters, I would've already...

So I guess what I'm getting at is -

Jacob, can we get the EVGA SLI Enhancement Pimp-Jedi's to write us 590 owners, or any other SLI users experiencing this issue, a proper SLI profile for SWTOR?

After all, you guys seem to be the only ones that get the job done...

Thanks for your time and consideration, and anyone else reading, for allowing me to rant/vent on this issue.

    Cheers!

Overall these drivers get a +1 from me, played some Shogun2 and the main map doesn't lag at all, used to studder a good bit.

I will either find a way, or make one.

BF3 not running well on ultra in 1600p with two 580 3gb cards? You're doing something wrong then............drop AA down to 2x and watch your minimum frames increase by twenty.

Not exactly, its 15 FPS going from NO AA to x4MSAA, x4 to x2 is much less!

Nice - I will try these out when I get back.

Of note:  I had tremendous problems with all drivers after 28X.XX on my old X58 mobo.  I really never could get tri-sli stable.  Those problems have gone away since I upgraded to X79 (knock on wood that they stay gone).

I don't think the mobo was about to die either as it is still rocking in a build box I have going now (though, admittedly, it isn't running sli).

    Took a screen of 295.73 and what i was running - 290.36.
Not much difference but to me the newer drivers had slightly better black...shadows and depth. Palm tree shadows and that crater looked better. Also running around the map with the newer drivers i had less stutter. however when i boot windows i get "no display on DVI" right before it gets into windows with the new driver. shrugs. Two 580's on ultra.

    290.36

I am excited about the Skyrim improvements and how they fixed the flickering distant textures in BF3.  Thanks for the heads up.

Just tried Skyrim with the new driver, sadly i only gained 2-3 fps in Markarth, it went up from 38 to 41 ..... not the 45% they promised!

I know that the last beta's PhsyX program broke my Tribes Ascend and I had to roll it back.  I wonder if I can upgrade to this and Tribes Ascend will still work.  Something to try tonight.

Same thing for Super Monday Night Combat. The last PhysX of the beta drivers was not working well.

Do these drivers support the GTX560 Ti 448 Core editions?
The drivers are posted on Nvidias site, but not EVGA's, why?
EDIT* I see that they are now posted on the EVGA site now, Great!
Are the drivers from EVGA different than the ones Nvidia releases?
