    What game causes the issue?

almost all games/benchmarks I try caused it

Also another thing worth mentioning is on previous drivers I ussually change the default global settings in the control panel and when I do that the problem arrises, this time I kept the nvidia drivers at default settings and the black screen didn't happen

I just ran unigine valley and looped it about 4 times with no black screen on 144.75, so thats promising....

Gonna try a few games now.

These drivers are a winner, I just played a game for the last 3 or 4 hours with no issues, finally a solid set of drivers.

just be sure to keep the global nvidia control panel at default settings, todays drivers are so picky these days

You can notice than NVIDIA launch last 3-4 WHQL drivers very fast.
OK same happen when GTX780Ti was launched but maybe and they figured out that something should be fixed.

shouldn't be, I use the clean install checkbox everytime under custom install.

seems be a wide issue, other gamers on GTX 770's have the same problem, could be a flaw in the keplar series cards. Look at rigbuilders12's reply above ^^ same card I have only in SLI, and he gets driver crashes too.

I might try gaming on my 750 TI maxwell for a while and see if it still happens. If it works fine on it, it will be either my PSU is going bad (750 TI takes less power usage to run) or the 770 is the culprit (bad GPU)

No, you misunderstood... If you install an older driver, is there one that doesn't cause this? Is there an older driver that keeps this from occurring.

True.  I was just curious if it would help with older games, or if there may be another bug running around causing the error.

These drivers are awful for me. Stuttering and drops massively in FC4 and ACU. Interestingly both games run great with .65. Thing that will wow people is that ACU, for me, runs better than FC4 and I've never crashed after around 14 hours play. Enjoying both games actually. ACU is definitely more "assassin" like orientated with the removal of the counter kill

    .75 or .65?

I have 2x 770 SC ACX in Sli, I do not have this problem.
I am having very good results with the 344.65. The 344.75 causes constant driver crashes, but the 65 is fine.
It could be a gpu issue, but more than likely its driver issue. I guess we'll have to wait and see till Nvidia releases a better driver.

Weird, I never had problems with NVIDIA drivers in past if graphic card was OK.
Such things as driver crash, etc...Only if show up some know problem for many people as artifacts in Valley with drivers before.
But I keep system clean from garbage, settings in BIOS are always normal range of OC, nothing too high, proven stable...
And when show some problem that's usually hardware.
Guy with fault ASUS GTX770 DC2 OC thought that problem is with RAM, but problem back after he replace RAM and second ASUS card had same problem. That mean probably one batch with similar fault pass in shops and ASUS know for that or don't know for that.
But definitely biggest number of fault samples in last period is among R9-280X.

NO issues for me on my 780ti super clocked(running at 1250mgz)
I see some saying they are having issues with this driver but mine is running flawless just like the previous drivers the past few months?

4690k@4.7Ghz / 770GTX Superclocked ACX Sli- this driver SUUUUUUCCKKKSSS!!  Valley 1.0 bench crashed 5 separate times, in 5 different scenes, driver failure every-time. Rolled back to 344.65, no issues. Waiting on Nvidia's next good driver to come out.

I think that I have two same GPU card as your!! There no issues so far on all games and benchmark e.g 3DMark! But you did use Vally 1.0 so this Vally is rubbish always crash for no reason!!! have try turn downclock to default and test Vally so it same crash and other Three Drivers! It so hopeless so you better off 3Dmark which is good useful!!!! Upto you  Have a look here Fire Strike and check out both Driver compare 344.65 to 344.75 it tiny only few numbers drop!! No problem for New Driver 344.75

Did you use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
and shut down and disable start up EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterbruner while install new driver and do not run Precision or Afterburner running background whistle install new driver that will cause your driver....
Best to disable Antivirus for install New Driver and after complete do not forget re enable Antivirus or whatever you have!! And Enable start up EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterbruner
    Good Luck

These drivers are awful for me. Stuttering and drops massively in FC4 and ACU. Interestingly both games run great with .65. Thing that will wow people is that ACU, for me, runs better than FC4 and I've never crashed after around 14 hours play. Enjoying both games actually. ACU is definitely more "assassin" like orientated with the removal of the counter kill

    Agreed. Huge issues in BF4.

Intel Core i9-10980XE, Asus Strix X299-E Gaming II, 128GB  Kingston HyperX DDR4-2400, EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC HYBRID GAMING 08G-P4-2184-KR, Asus ROG Swift PG278Q, Corsair HX850i, Corsair H110i AIO, all wrapped in a Corsair Obsidian 600 case.
