I was having problems with this driver it kept crashing my pc, but then i found out avg tuneup was deleting nvidia registry files and thus damaging the driver, so i now feel quite stupid. great driver, smashing performance.

Just fyi that colour issue with EVE Online is shader related. If you drop the shaders to medium it'll run fine on 320.18. I also had that issue. The 320 series beta drivers do the same thing.

Battlefield 3 sometimes experiences random crashes with these drivers too. I never got them with 314.22, though I know some others did. They've become more prevalent with 320.18 though.

Yeah I'm also having the green glitching issue with Battlefield 3 now. It appears to only happen on certain maps. It just happened to me on Bandar Desert, completely unplayable. I'm rolling back to 314.22 to see if it solves the issues.

Without config details its hard to make suggestions....

But what you describe would appear to be failure to use a Custom Mode install (with clean install checked)
And use of a in-game settings combo known to cause such issues

If you post your videocard setup and monitor screen res....
I can give you a screenshot of the -exact- in-game settings that will fix the green glitching problem

Anybody else seeing higher temps in game?? Getting roughly 10c higher with my GTX 680 SLI setup in Metro LL.  I understand that these latest drivers can damage your card, but from what I have seen this has only happened to Fermi based GPU's

I used the custom install and did a complete fresh installation, I just play the game with everything up as high as it will go @1080p, I always have done ^_^ I rolled back to 314.22 and have had no issues ever since. I'm sure you could help me get it working on 320.18 but I'm too lazy to faff about with it tbh ^_^ Thanks anyway lol

I haven't had any crashes or weird colors from these drives in BF like others have, but I am getting tons of wild FPS drop for no apparent reason and it does not matter what map it is. Anyone else having these issues? I had rolled back to 314.22 due to other problems, but Tomb Raider runs a lot smoother for me with 320.18 so I decided to give it another shot. Gona roll back to 314.22 as soon as I finish Tomb Raider lol

Hey everyone! I just wanted to say that I too have had a similar problem with these weird artifact/glyphs of some sort with the latest 320.18 WHQL drivers. Here is a video showing an example of what I'm talking about. I recently rolled back to the 314.22 WHQL drivers and everything is running cherry again. Though, when I play Metro 2033 with these drivers, my game freezes and crashes saying the error "Kernal driver not responding."I have an EVGA gtx 650 ti Boost Superclocked GPU.
(Disclaimer, I do not hold rights to this video. I PM'd the up-loader and said it was cool to spread this video.)

Hello, I installed the new drivers 320.18 and am having crashes when am using Skype and internet explorer, YouTube mostly, I checked everything java, flash player, clean everything using Driver Sweeper from previous drivers reinstall again and again, but always my pc crashing every 5-20 minutes hangs and restarting... never had this issue with any other drivers before... am using windows 8 64 bit, my graphics card is EVGA GeForce GTX 560...am out of ideas I checked and tried everything, so I reroll back to 314.22 which everything was working fine until I find a solution or what is causing the problem with the new drivers.

I'd try contacting Nvidia about it, though to be honest, unless you heavily play games that are improved by the 320.18 drivers, I wouldn't worry about it.

Seems like an ok driver. I have mixed feelings about the bloatware aka nvidia experience. I uninstalled it and lost icon and functionality from systray. Some if it I want, but some I do not. Seems slow to scan at times, during which you can do nothing but sit and wait for it to finish.

Stop with the unboxing videos already, it is this generations "mullet hair cut".

I personally saw these issues with a GTX 285 Classified and a GTX 480, while now on 314.22 all is well.

Issues I had with the 480 on this driver set were games/programs crashing, display driver crashing, low frame rates, and then after a couple days of this the card would blue screen as soon as the driver loaded when booting Windows.

On my 285 Classified I saw a lot of artifacting in multiple games.

I would not recommend using this.

I had the same issues with my 560ti sli and 260 core 216 setup. I tried removing the 260, turning off sli etc... all kinds of things and nothing worked. I def know how to install/uninstall drivers so I know now it wasn't my process, its def these drivers!!!from the 320 beta drivers on, my rig would just crash out and reset itself, and as soon as I started a game it would just lock everything up. Now that ive gone back to the 314 drivers and cleaned everything back up, I noticed that my 560ti cards wont clock as high anymore and they need the mem setting down to 2106 to not crash... any higher they crash out. if I raise voltage from stock 1062 they crash. the 260 has lost its mind and when I raise the fan to 80-100% the voltage raises itself to the next tic?!?!? lol I was really starting to believe it was some combination of the way I was doing things but now I know its not, which is sorta comforting, im just hoping my cards weren't permently damaged.

Ridiculous!

While there certainly may be users have issues with this driver, it NOT killing anyones GPU

What we are seeing here is NVIDIA DRIVER INSTALL ERRORS
If you read the first link, the recovery posted is not only the stupidest driver uninstall procedure, it is of course completely WRONG.

Wake up people
You DO NOT use a -default- Nvidia driver "EXPRESS" install -ever-
These issues are being caused by users who have installed the GeForce Experience and/or are NOT correctly shutting down Precision and the RTSS service before installing drivers.

People who use CORRECT procedure by shutting down Precision/Afterburner and the RTSS -AND- who did not install the GeForce Experience in the first place....
-->are NOT REPORTING ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL  -none-zero-

Turn off Precision and the RTSS -before installing drivers- and ONLY use a CUSTOM Mode install with GeForce Experience and Nvidia Update UNCHECKED
And always put a check mark in "Perform a clean install"

I never use the experience / updater, or 3D (don't need), or audio - just the driver and physx only, ever, and only clean install. As I've said, Ive had no issues at all with these drivers. How badly do you have to install a driver for it to bork your card? I didn't even think that was possible lol.

Here is my comment on that in the other thread about this reported "issue"
http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=1952986

At least for BF3, the GeForce Experience (GFE) "could" be causing these problems (as I posted in the link)

I have to admit,I didn't shutdown afterburner when doing that 320 install because I usually do my driver installs and clean ups from safe mode. tbh, I never even thought to look for it running in safe mode, lol. afterburner is all I use and just the graphics driver and physx driver get installed. that's it. lesson learned!!! \m/

I've not had any problems in any game with this driver set and it has to be the best driver for BF3 in a long time. Custom clean install on a fresh Win 7 install.
One problem i did have though was that on one occasion my fans would not adjust while using a custom fan curve in precision X. They stayed at 40% and just let my cards  heat up. I had this happen once on a previous driver too but with MSI Afterburner and my top card hit 101c as i'd been playing BF3 for an hour before realising. No artifacting or shut down. Another clean install of the driver solved the issue in both cases.

I just hope that nvidia releases new drivers soon cause I will be getting a GTX 770, and right now 320.18 is the only driver set that support it.

These drivers are not good.

Maniacvvv,
In your opinion what is the best temperature monitoring program and FPS program to run in game if you should want to monitor temps and FPS?  Which is the least likely to cause problems.  I do understand they are all a "no no" to have running while installing.
